CANISTER Vapor -If an issue is detected with the Evaporative System Integrity Module (ESIM) Detector and not the Vapor Canister, only replace the ESIM Detector. -Before replacing the Vapor Canister due to Hard to Fill condition, replicate the condition at the Gas Station. If the condition is replicated, then check: 1) for kinked or pinched Clean Air Hose between the ESIM and the EVAP Air Filter; 2) for plugged EVAP Air Filter; 3) for kinked or pinched Vapor Hose between the Fuel Tank and the Vapor Canister. If the EVAP Filter is restricted, the replace the Filter. -Check if the Vapor Canister is flooded with fuel or the Recirculation Line has fuel. If fuel is found in the Vapor Canister or the Recirculation Line, then drop the Fuel Tank, remove the FDM Lock Ring to check if the internal Vapor Line is properly connected to the FDM Port. If the Vapor Line is not connected, then drain the fuel from the internal Vapor Line and properly connect to the FDM. Replace the Vapor Canister and the ESIM.

Medium Range Radar Alfa Giulia and Stelvio - FRONT RADAR -Temporary misalignment (DASM) Forward Collision Warning (FCW) System - Light on instrumental panel control cluster Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) System - Light on instrumental panel We inform you that if the collision radar warning light is temporarily on and the temporary inhibition of the FCW (Forward Collision Warning) and the ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) are both temporarily inhibited, the vehicle is conforming. If conditions are such that the radar cannot detect obstacles correctly, the system is temporarily deactivated and a dedicated message is displayed on IPC (Instrument Panel Control Cluster). Temporary deactivation is caused by automatic radar learning under particular conditions: Change in vehicle weight distributed unevenly. Change in vehicle geometry. Roads with limited presence of radar references (guard rails, road signs, other vehicles on the carriage way, etc.). Severe weather conditions (snow fall or heavy rain). Highly reflective conditions (e.g., tunnels with reflective tiles, or ice or snow, or sites with road work). Obstruction of radar due to presence of mud, dirt or ice on bumper or radar surface and/or cover. Please note that the problem solves itself and one or more of the following DTCs may be stored: ACC C1417-78: Horizontal misalignment of sensor - Incorrect alignment or adjustment ACC C1418-78: Vertical misalignment of sensor - Incorrect alignment or adjustment ACC C1409-97: Blinded radar sensor - Obstructed or blocked component This is not a fault but rather a message alerting the driver that the FCW and possibly ACC (if activated) functions are temporarily inhibited. Please be advised that if the customer complains of temporary or sporadic illumination of the anti-collision warning light with the AEB system subsequently returning to full functionality, the vehicle is conforming and no radar adjustment is required. If the message is displayed frequently, even in the absence of weather conditions such as snow, rain,mud, or other types of obstruction, check and clean the radar surface directly by manually removing the aesthetic cover plate.
