Technical service bulletins are instructions a manufacturer sent its dealers about a known fault. They are not recalls and the work is usually not free, but they are the clearest signal of a problem the manufacturer already knows about.

Altec has developed a new bracket for the cutterhead for certain MT66-E76 units that increases the cut diameter from 8â to 10â with the grapple and saw functions. This upgrade is not covered under the Altec Warranty Policy and can be performed by Altec, the customer, or the customerâs warranty provider.
Complaint counts are reports filed with NHTSA, not failure rates. A common model collects more of them than a rare one that breaks more often.
