ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING:SWITCHES/KNOBS/BUTTONS Recall

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2013-2025 AP45A trucks. The boom stow switch wire in the cargo storage area may become damaged, which can result in a short circuit, causing the wire to overheat.

Remedy: Altec will instruct owners to inspect their vehicle and if the wire is not protected, order a kit that includes a bolt on guard to protect the wires, free of charge. Letters informing owners of the safety risk were mailed September 11, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3349.

SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:SUPPLY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS Recall

Altec Industries Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2025 AP Series vehicles. The brake air line compression fitting may not be tightened correctly, which can allow the supply line or other air lines to detach and cause the chassis emergency brakes to engage.

Remedy: Altec will provide owners with instructions to inspect the brake air lines. If the lines are improperly secured, Altec will provide instructions and a kit to secure the lines. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 3, 2025. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3242.
