Service bulletins

3 bulletins

Technical service bulletins are instructions a manufacturer sent its dealers about a known fault. They are not recalls and the work is usually not free, but they are the clearest signal of a problem the manufacturer already knows about.

CSR-3321

Service Bulletin/Repair Instructions

FCA USA has decided that certain 2025-2026 model year (DT) Ram 1500 Pickup, (DJ) Ram 2500 Pickup, (D2) Ram 3500 Pickup, (DD) Ram 3500 Cab Chassis, and 2025-2026 model year (DP) Ram 4500/5500 Cab Chassis that are equipped with Altec equipment fail to comply with various federal motor vehicle safety standards. The 3.5" Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) on your vehicle may contain software that causes the cluster to be inoperative at startup and while driving. Failure to display critical safety information, such as the BRAKE, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) warning lights and gear selection indicator, can increase the risk of a crash without warning.

SIL 3218

Service Bulletin/Repair Instructions

Altec has learned that certain Chevrolet and International CV vehicles built from March 2024 to March 2025 could have been shipped without an exhaust tip.

SIL-3203

Service Bulletin/Repair Instructions

Altec has learned that there could be a missing spacer on the Huckbolt installed on the curb side shear plate on certain AT37 and AT41 aerial units. This could cause premature wear on the bolt and shear plate and increase the risk of damage to the frame rail.

Complaint counts are reports filed with NHTSA, not failure rates. A common model collects more of them than a rare one that breaks more often.
