Altec has learned that the affected units could experience issues with the lanyard detection interlock system being out of adjustment due to the improper installation of the fiber optic cable on the transmitter, as well as signal interference from nearby transmission lines. These defects have been resolved by implementing adjustment criteria, improving cable installation, addressing interference issues, and updating the firmware.
