Technical service bulletins are instructions a manufacturer sent its dealers about a known fault. They are not recalls and the work is usually not free, but they are the clearest signal of a problem the manufacturer already knows about.
KTI Hydraulic PumpDC45537
It was discovered that several trailers escaped the Big Tex Caldwell facility with KTI pump PN DC 45537 power up / power down / gravity down manufactured with an incorrect valve body. The hydraulic system on affected trailers functions properly in the power up / power down mode. However, due to the incorrect valve body installed on some pumps, the hydraulic reservoir could overflow if operated in the gravity down mode.
