Any or all of these conditions may be present: A. The exterior rearview mirror glass is discolored or cracked B. The power windows and folding mirrors may not operate C. One or more of the following LIN bus faults are stored in the BDC (Body Domain Controller): Faulty exterior rearview mirror electronics have created a short on the LIN bus, damaging the mirror glass and causing functional errors in power window and exterior mirror operation.
Complaint counts are reports filed with NHTSA, not failure rates. A common model collects more of them than a rare one that breaks more often.
