Technical service bulletins are instructions a manufacturer sent its dealers about a known fault. They are not recalls and the work is usually not free, but they are the clearest signal of a problem the manufacturer already knows about.

The revised TCU software enhances the thermal management system and eliminates erroneously stored faults. The updated OTA software enables TCU and BMS diagnostics to be reported over the air. Additionally, the improved BMS software enhances fault detection and decreases the overall time required for cell balancing.

Bulletin Title: Update the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU), Thermal Control Unit (TCU), and Telematics Module Unit (TMU) software to the latest version. Symptom: The existing VCU and TCU software may cause various fault codes to be stored in the vehicle's fault memory. The TMU does not currently support WiFi connection capability. Discussion: If equipped, the updated VCU software adds ePTO enhancements, improvements to 12V and high-voltage battery conditioning, and eliminates erroneously stored faults. The TCU software improves the thermal management system and eliminates erroneously stored faults. The TMU software adds WiFi connection capability to the vehicle.
