Subject: 05G valve plate replacements on X2 / X4 models Carrier Transicold, in conjunction with Carlyle Compressor, has determined that an out-of-specification condition exists with the 05G compressor built for a period of time in 2013 that were used in those Carrier Transicold X2 / X4 models in the serial number range listed below. Affected 05G compressorsÂ’ discharge valve backers (which are a subcomponent of the valve plate assembly) have been measured out-of-specification which may lead to a failed discharge reed which subsequently may cause the rod to wear through the piston.

Solara trailer heating units within the serial number range of PHS91362553 to RHF91402101 are required to have the positive battery cable replaced. This new battery cable will be shipped from Carrier Transicold for all affected Solara units sold by the respective dealer.

IMPCO has determined on certain PC6000 series APU between the s/n ETD22211516 to ETD22213796 may have a potential risk of a premature starter terminal lug failure. TSB-532 covers the inspection and repair process to correct this fault.
Complaint counts are reports filed with NHTSA, not failure rates. A common model collects more of them than a rare one that breaks more often.
