Remanufactured Transmission Assembly 1. All Promaster (VF) 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles: a) If the transmission bracket to the transmission case fasteners are removed during servicing, the fasteners (Part Number 06511385A$) must be replaced as they are one-time usage. b) Vehicles built prior to 10/23/2015 requires Service Kit PN 68461214AA; includes Transmission Isolator PN 68264483AA, and Adaptation Bracket 68264479AA and Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA. c) Vehicles built on or after 10/23/2015 will require only the Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA. 2. Only use the reman 62TE specified in StarParts for each model year - Only use R8210327A$ for 2014 - Feb 28, 2019 VF. - Only use R8453637A$ or R8599680A$ for March 1, 2019 and later VF as they have the revised park system. - R8453637A$ and R8599680A$ are physically and functionally equivalent. Installing a R8453637A$ or R8599680A$ in a 2014 - Feb 28, 2019 VF will result in a core with the original park system being returned. Mopar can no longer convert 62TE core with the original park system to the March 1, 2019 and later version. Continued mis-usage will exacerbate the existing core shortage. Mopar may deny warranty claims where the incorrect version is used in 2014-18 VF. 3. The engine to transmission dowel pins are critical to the longevity of several components. Verify the dowel pins are in the rear face of engine block before installing a replacement transmission. Mopar will add loose dowel pins with remanufactured 62TE. 4. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If vehicle is jerking/slipping with MIL code(s) P0740 or P2764, check TCC Solenoid operation. If TCC Solenoid is ok, the codes are indicative of a torque converter failure. Replace the torque converter. 5. There may be incorrect fluid measurement on the dipstick tool when

Recommended Brands: Wix, Purolator, and NapaGold For concerns of V8 oil filter leaks on 22MY and up vehicles: 1. Clean the area and use oil dye to know the exact location of the leak with black/UV light. 2. Removal torque (force needed to loosen the filter) 3. If the source of the leak cannot be identified, please contact FCA Redacted Content to FasTrak parts back for analysis. If no response in 15 minutes, proceed with repair and email pictures of the following: A) Oil filter from the bottom to know if it has a "Factory Installed" filter. B) Leak. C) Damage in filter (if any) D) Gasket. E) Block or Oil Filter Adapter(OFA) or Engine Oil Cooler(EOC) sealing surface.

If the holes are damaged or elongated the transmission should be replaced to prevent further damage to the transmission/flexplate or pump bushing due to the inability to properly align the engine to the transmission during the repair. 3. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If pump bushing is scored or damaged and the dowel pin alignment holes are ok, replace the pump assembly as opposed to complete transmission. 4. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If vehicle is jerking/slipping with MIL code(s) P0740 or P2764, check TCC Solenoid operation. If TCC Solenoid is ok, the codes are indicative of a torque converter failure. Replace the torque converter.

Inspect the sensor for a fluid coating on the sensor pins. Orange colored rain repellant can cause this fluid build-up. Clean the pins, drain the reservoir, and fill with Mopar approved washer fluid. Sun Sensor Multi zone Auto Climate Control systems. Left and right outlet temperatures do not match when system is in "sync" . Occupants will experience being cold ( winter time), on either passenger or driver side, even though the temperature setting is the same. Root cause: Suspect sun senors ( PN 55111274AA and 55111275AA). THERE WILL BE NO DTC FOR THE SUN SENSOR active or stored. The issue is diagnosed by using an INCANDESCENT (not LED) shop lamp. Shine the shop lamp on the left side of the sensor, then on the right side of the sensor, while monitoring sensor output with STARSCAN. The reading should change from 0 (or near zero) to about 20 to 40. The important thing is that the left and right readings are the same, and that they change when the lamp is shone on it.

RHR Radio Issue Description: Issue 1: While performing RHR radio reflash (software update), on rare occasions, the flash can fail to properly update the radio resulting in the radio running in Emergency IFS mode. This error condition can occur due to interrupting the software update, background radio operations interfering with the reflash process, etc. The radio will reboot, but with limited functionality ( may include but are not limited to: NAV, Voice Recognition, Bluetooth, or AUX jack are inop, no available space shown on HDD, etc.). The radio can still be properly updated by simply reinserting the software update disc and performing the reflash procedure again. To assist in the verification that the radio is running Emergency IFS perform the 1. Power on radio~ 2. Press MENU H/K~ 3. Press System Setup S/K~ 4. Press Manage HDD S/K~ 5. Press Display Available Space on HDD S/K~ 6. When running Emergency IFS, all items under Used, Available, and Capacity report as dashes Issue 2: If you are having troubles connecting a phone or a MP3 player, try removing the battery on the device and then going through the pairing/connection procedure again. If you cannot remove the battery on the device, perform a reboot. Each manufacturer has a different series of buttons to hold down to perform a reboot. If the problem still persists, try the device on another like vehicle with the same radio. If you are having the same connection issues on another like vehicle, the device may be faulty or it may not be compatible with the RHR radio. Go to www.chrysler.com/hostb/crossbrand/owners/en and click on ?Bluetooth Phone Compatibility Test Results? link for a list of phones that are compatible. For MP3 players and media storage devices, only .wma, .aac, .mp3, .sacd, .jpeg & .jpg files are supported. Remove all other file types and reevaluate the concern. The Secret Key information stored in the PCM may be corrupt. This update will restore the PCM?s ability to store/transfer valid Secret Key information.This release also includes accuracy improvements for the Automatic Oil Change Indicator (AOCI) system.If the WIN had been replaced prior to this software update, the original keys/FOBIKs will need to be replaced.

Mopar offers an alternative product (82213192) which is a water based product approved for sale in the aforementioned states.~ ~ Please inform the customer & your prep dept that spraying excessive amounts of the fabric protector on load floors will result in the breaking down of the adhesive (glue) that is used to create the bond between the fabric (carpet) and the load floor. This will apply to any vehicles equipped with rear load floors such as WK, WD, PM, MK, KA, KK. The carpet will appear to be loose, wrinkly, or bunch up~
