Oil Filter If a Mopar Oil Filter is not available, use a filter that meets or exceeds USCAR36 specification and is compatible with semi and full synthetic oils. Recommended Brands: Wix, Purolator, and NapaGold For concerns of V8 oil filter leaks on 22MY and up vehicles: 1. Clean the area and use oil dye to know the exact location of the leak with black/UV light. 2. Removal torque (force needed to loosen the filter) 3. If the source of the leak cannot be identified, please contact FCA Redacted Content to FasTrak parts back for analysis. If no response in 15 minutes, proceed with repair and email pictures of the following: A) Oil filter from the bottom to know if it has a "Factory Installed" filter. B) Leak. Transmission Kit with Torque Converter 1. All Promaster (VF) 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the transmission bracket to the transmission case fasteners are removed during servicing, the fasteners (Part Number 06511385A$) are one-time usage. Vehicles built prior to 10/23/2015 requires Service Kit PN 68461214AA; includes Transmission Isolator PN 68264483AA, and Adaptation Bracket 68264479AA and Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA Vehicles built after on or after 10/23/2015 will require only the Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA. 2. All 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the vehicle you are repairing has a crack in the flex plate or failed pump bushing inspect and confirm that both (2) dowel pins are present in the engine block, which align the transmission center line to the crank shaft centerline and visually inspect the dowel alignment holes in the transmission case. If the holes are damaged or elongated the transmission should be replaced to prevent further damage to the transmission/flexplate or pump bushing due to the inability to properly align the engine to the transmission during the repair. 3. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If pump bushing is scored or damaged and the dowel pin alignment holes are ok, replace the pump assembly as opposed to complete transmission. 4. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If vehicle is jerking/slipping with MIL code(s) P0740 or P2764, check TCC Solenoid operation. If TCC Solenoid is ok, the codes are indicative of a torque converter failure. Replace the torque converter.

Flash: Hands Free Module (HFM) Software Enhancements This bulletin involves reprogramming the HFM with the latest available software. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) has been set: U0197-00 - Lost Communication With Hands Free Phone Module. Customers may also comment one or more the following: Loss of audio while on a Bluetooth phone call(MYs 2014 - 2019 JC Only). HFM does not boot properly. "Hands-Free Module Loading" is displayed on the head unit. The HFM is inoperative and unresponsive to all user input. The HFM is unresponsive and appears off the bus to wiTECH. Inaccurate foreign language translations. Voice Recognition (VR) is sluggish after changing the language. IPhone 4 starts auto recording itself. Background noise from automated speech recognition. When in Bluetooth Streaming Audio (BTSA) mode, the display will show ?Musicpaused connecting phone? while a song is being played and without an incoming call. Wrong BTSA screen when deleting. When in Text To Speech (TTS), it will be a mix of the TTS and recording. IPod touch, BTSA will not audio stream. Integrated center stack screen will display ?music paused? afterignition was cycled and BTSA was being used before the ignition was turned off. Automatic Sound Recognition (ASR) microphone picking up background noise. When the language is set for Italian and after the ignition is cycled,the phone screens will change to English(Sales Code RSQ Only). No response from the steering wheel VR button. Not being able to enter into the phone screen on the radio. The customer may note when trying to select a non-supported language likeRussian or Portuguese, the Hands Free screen will default to English. The VR will default back to the last language (Italian, French, Spanish,German or Dutch) the customer was using.

Washer Fluid Level Sensor Prior to replacing this part due to "Low Washer Fluid" tell tale light on the dash and the washer fluid bottle is full, please perform the this inspection. Inspect the sensor for a fluid coating on the sensor pins. Orange colored rain repellant can cause this fluid build-up. Clean the pins, drain the reservoir, and fill with Mopar approved washer fluid. Check to determine if the issue has been resolved. Continue with repair if necessary. Also, please inform the customer not to use Rain-X in the system to avoid this issue. Sun Sensor Multi zone Auto Climate Control systems. Left and right outlet temperatures do not match when system is in "sync" . Occupants will experience being cold ( winter time), on either passenger or driver side, even though the temperature setting is the same. Root cause: Suspect sun senors ( PN 55111274AA and 55111275AA). THERE WILL BE NO DTC FOR THE SUN SENSOR active or stored. The issue is diagnosed by using an INCANDESCENT (not LED) shop lamp. Shine the shop lamp on the left side of the sensor, then on the right side of the sensor, while monitoring sensor output with STARSCAN. The reading should change from 0 (or near zero) to about 20 to 40. The important thing is that the left and right readings are the same, and that they change when the lamp is shone on it.

This new coolant is an Organic Additive Technology (OAT) (Fig. 1). OAT coolants have a service interval of 10 years or 150,000 miles. For heavy duty truck and extreme duty cycle applications refer to the Service Information or Owner's Manual for proper maintenance schedules.
