Clean the area and use oil dye to know the exact location of the leak with black/UV light. 2. Removal torque (force needed to loosen the filter) 3. Transmission Kit with Torque Converter 1. All Promaster (VF) 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the transmission bracket to the transmission case fasteners are removed during servicing, the fasteners (Part Number 06511385A$) are one-time usage. Vehicles built prior to 10/23/2015 requires Service Kit PN 68461214AA; includes Transmission Isolator PN 68264483AA, and Adaptation Bracket 68264479AA and Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA Vehicles built after on or after 10/23/2015 will require only the Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA. 2. All 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the vehicle you are repairing has a crack in the flex plate or failed pump bushing inspect and confirm that both (2) dowel pins are present in the engine block, which align the transmission center line to the crank shaft centerline and visually inspect the dowel alignment holes in the transmission case. If the holes are damaged or elongated the transmission should be replaced to prevent further damage to the transmission/flexplate or pump bushing due to the inability to properly align the engine to the transmission during the repair. 3. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If pump bushing is scored or damaged and the dowel pin alignment holes are ok, replace the pump assembly as opposed to complete transmission. 4. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If vehicle is jerking/slipping with MIL code(s) P0740 or P2764, check TCC Solenoid operation. If TCC Solenoid is ok, the codes are indicative of a torque converter failure. Replace the torque converter.

Transmission Oil Pan, Heater (TMU), Tube or O-ring Applies to vehicles equipped with 8 speed transmissions only; if you have a leak that appears to be at the pan the use of proper leak detection is recommended. The fluid in the 8 speeds can be detected with a black light and there are aftermarket spray on leak detection materials to help ensure that the leak is properly diagnosed and not from another location such as cooler lines, heater tubes, or case porosity. Please note that the transmission pan gasket is available for many of the 8 speed applications FCA offers. Please review the available quick connect and transfer tube parts, as replacement of the TMU may not be required. If a TOC line connection is found to be the source, the quick connect may need replacement. If the leak source is coming from the connection of the TMU to the transmission, the transfer tube may need replacement. When parts are returned to the QEC the retaining clips (snap ring) for the quick disconnect fittings are missing. (This leaves a question as to whether the clips were missing from the assembly plant, or the technician removed them in order to make line removal easier.) Please return the clips with the transmission heater and note if they were not there to begin with. For any questions regarding transmission heater, contact FCA Redacted Content. If no response in 15 minutes, proceed with repair.

Customers may also comment one or more the following: Loss of audio while on a Bluetooth phone call(MYs 2014 - 2019 JC Only). HFM does not boot properly. "Hands-Free Module Loading" is displayed on the head unit. The HFM is inoperative and unresponsive to all user input. The HFM is unresponsive and appears off the bus to wiTECH. Inaccurate foreign language translations. Voice Recognition (VR) is sluggish after changing the language. IPhone 4 starts auto recording itself. Background noise from automated speech recognition. When in Bluetooth Streaming Audio (BTSA) mode, the display will show ?Musicpaused connecting phone? while a song is being played and without an incoming call. Wrong BTSA screen when deleting. When in Text To Speech (TTS), it will be a mix of the TTS and recording. IPod touch, BTSA will not audio stream. Integrated center stack screen will display ?music paused? afterignition was cycled and BTSA was being used before the ignition was turned off. Automatic Sound Recognition (ASR) microphone picking up background noise. When the language is set for Italian and after the ignition is cycled,the phone screens will change to English(Sales Code RSQ Only). No response from the steering wheel VR button. Not being able to enter into the phone screen on the radio. The customer may note when trying to select a non-supported language likeRussian or Portuguese, the Hands Free screen will default to English. The VR will default back to the last language (Italian, French, Spanish,German or Dutch) the customer was using.

Inspect the sensor for a fluid coating on the sensor pins. Orange colored rain repellant can cause this fluid build-up. Clean the pins, drain the reservoir, and fill with Mopar approved washer fluid. Sun Sensor Multi zone Auto Climate Control systems. Left and right outlet temperatures do not match when system is in "sync" . Occupants will experience being cold ( winter time), on either passenger or driver side, even though the temperature setting is the same. Root cause: Suspect sun senors ( PN 55111274AA and 55111275AA). THERE WILL BE NO DTC FOR THE SUN SENSOR active or stored. The issue is diagnosed by using an INCANDESCENT (not LED) shop lamp. Shine the shop lamp on the left side of the sensor, then on the right side of the sensor, while monitoring sensor output with STARSCAN. The reading should change from 0 (or near zero) to about 20 to 40. The important thing is that the left and right readings are the same, and that they change when the lamp is shone on it.
