Technical service bulletins are instructions a manufacturer sent its dealers about a known fault. They are not recalls and the work is usually not free, but they are the clearest signal of a problem the manufacturer already knows about.

INTELLIGENT LIFE INTERLOCK SYSTEM (ILIS) THE SHIFT LOCK STATUS LED (AMBER) FLASHES AND THE SFHIFTER DOES NOT LOCK WITH THE PARK BRAKE ON AND /OR THE LIFT DOOR OPEN. THIS WILL ONLY OCCUR IF THE VEHICLE BATTERY VOLTAGE DROPS BELOW 7.5 VOLTS DURING ENGINE CRANKING.
