All Promaster (VF) 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles: a) If the transmission bracket to the transmission case fasteners are removed during servicing, the fasteners (Part Number 06511385A$) must be replaced as they are one-time usage. b) Vehicles built prior to 10/23/2015 requires Service Kit PN 68461214AA; includes Transmission Isolator PN 68264483AA, and Adaptation Bracket 68264479AA and Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA. c) Vehicles built on or after 10/23/2015 will require only the Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA. 2. Only use the reman 62TE specified in StarParts for each model year - Only use R8210327A$ for 2014 - Feb 28, 2019 VF. - Only use R8453637A$ or R8599680A$ for March 1, 2019 and later VF as they have the revised park system. - R8453637A$ and R8599680A$ are physically and functionally equivalent. Installing a R8453637A$ or R8599680A$ in a 2014 - Feb 28, 2019 VF will result in a core with the original park system being returned. Mopar can no longer convert 62TE core with the original park system to the March 1, 2019 and later version. Continued mis-usage will exacerbate the existing core shortage. Mopar may deny warranty claims where the incorrect version is used in 2014-18 VF. 3. The engine to transmission dowel pins are critical to the longevity of several components. Verify the dowel pins are in the rear face of engine block before installing a replacement transmission. Mopar will add loose dowel pins with remanufactured 62TE. 4. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If vehicle is jerking/slipping with MIL code(s) P0740 or P2764, check TCC Solenoid operation. If TCC Solenoid is ok, the codes are indicative of a torque converter failure. If the holes are damaged or elongated the transmission should be replaced to prevent further damage to the transmission/flexplate or pump bushing due to the inability to properly align the engine to the transmission during the repair. 3. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If pump bushing is scored or damaged and the dowel pin alignment holes are ok, replace the pump assembly as opposed to complete transmission. 4. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If vehicle is jerking/slipping with MIL code(s) P0740 or P2764, check TCC Solenoid operation. If TCC Solenoid is ok, the codes are indicative of a torque converter failure. Replace the torque converter.

Accelerator Pedal Before replacing accelerator pedal, be sure to follow fault code diagnostic procedures in service manual. Make sure to check wiring and connectors. P2122 and P2127 will set if accelerator pedal connector is disconnected during diagnosis. Make sure codes are active before replacing pedal. DTC P2299 is usually caused by a two footed driver and accelerator pedal should not be replaced for this fault.

Washer Fluid Level Sensor Prior to replacing this part due to "Low Washer Fluid" tell tale light on the dash and the washer fluid bottle is full, please perform this inspection: Check if float sensor is rotated off location from the bottle anti-rotation features that surround the SENSOR. Park Assist Sensor 1) Active or Stored DTC of Signal Shape / Waveform Failure fault: B128E-25, B128F-25, B1290-25, B1291-25, B1292-25, B1293-25, B1295-25, B1296-25, B1297-25, and/or B1298-25, check for snow/mud/ice/obstruction and clean the Sensors, both front and back (behind bumper) of sensor. The snow/mud/ice can be behind the bumper, sensor retainer and/or the sensor which may cause customers to think they have an issue since they cleaned the front of the sensor/bumper, but not behind where dirt/mud/ice snow can accumulate. Once the Bumper and Sensors are completely cleaned and clear of snow, mud, ice, and/or obstruction, the sensors must activate in order for the faults to go STORED. After cleaning the Bumper and Sensors, turn off the engine, wait 10 seconds, turn on the engine and then place the vehicle in REVERSE so that the sensors activate. The faults will go STORED. 2) Active or Stored DTC code of Short to Ground fault: B128E-11, B128F-11, B1290-11, B1291-11, B1292-11, B1293-11, B1294-11, B1295-11, B1296-11, and/or B1298-11, or if you have an active or stored DTC code of Performance or Incorrect Operation fault: B128E-92, B128F-92, B1290-92, B1291-92, B1293-92, B1294-92, B1295-92, B1296-92, B1297-92, and/or B1298-92, then check the wiring behind the sensor. Specifically, ensure that the connector behind the park assist sensor is fully mounted. Ensure also, there is no dirt, corrosion, or damage in this connector behind the park assist sensor as this will also cause a Short to Ground fault. With potential wiring issues addressed, the sensors must activate in order for the faults to go STORED. After all sensors are properly connected (you will likely hear a click once the connector is fully seated on the sensor), turn off the engine, wait 10 seconds, turn on the engine and then place the vehicle in REVERSE so that the sensors activate. The faults will go STORED.

Door Hinge Assembly Side door hinge noisy. Only replace the door hinge with the integral check device. Do not replace the simple hinge if it is not damaged it is not the source of the noise. Replacing it unnecessary and is an over-repair.

Washer Fluid Level Sensor Prior to replacing this part due to "Low Washer Fluid" tell tale light on the dash and the washer fluid bottle is full, please perform the this inspection. Inspect the sensor for a fluid coating on the sensor pins. Orange colored rain repellant can cause this fluid build-up. Clean the pins, drain the reservoir, and fill with Mopar approved washer fluid. Check to determine if the issue has been resolved. Continue with repair if necessary. Also, please inform the customer not to use Rain-X in the system to avoid this issue. Intake Manifold Gasket Intake Manifold Gaskets on Pentastar Upgrade (Sales Code ERC/ERF) are reusable provided they are not cut, torn or melted. The gaskets are not required by warranty to be replaced like they are on Pentastar Classic (ERB/EHB). The new gaskets are not interchangeable with Pentastar Classic Intake Manifold Gaskets.

82212076, 82203694 - Fabric Cleaner This "fabric cleaner" is not intended for sale in California, the otc states (Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington dc), and some ladco states (Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio). Mopar offers an alternative product (82213192) which is a water based product approved for sale in the aforementioned states.~ ~ Please inform the customer & your prep dept that spraying excessive amounts of the fabric protector on load floors will result in the breaking down of the adhesive (glue) that is used to create the bond between the fabric (carpet) and the load floor. This will apply to any vehicles equipped with rear load floors such as WK, WD, PM, MK, KA, KK. The carpet will appear to be loose, wrinkly, or bunch up~
