According to a notification letter received from Ford regarding this campaign, ?it may be possible the crankshaft pulley bolt was not tightened properly during engine assembly. This may result in the check engine light illuminating If the vehicle is not serviced, engine damage may result.? All repairs must be performed by an authorized Ford dealer.

Due to over-sensitivity of the transfer switch, Auto Generator Start will not operate when the air conditioners are set to cool because the transfer switch will not allow the power from the generator through to the motor home. The installation of a compressor delay timer relay will correct this condition. Affected vehicles were manufactured prior to REV Design Change 17-18 and equipped with Option 690 Neutral Loss Protection.
