SERVICE BULLETIN M1504: LIVEWIRE MODULES UPDATES. PURPOSE: Revision. This bulletin informs dealers that Harley-Davidson has made a software update to the LiveWire™ related to the following modules: On-Board Charger (OBC), Vehicle Supervisory Controller (VSC), Rechargeable Energy Storage System (RESS), Motor Control Module (MCM). This software update is required for all LiveWire vehicles and will be reimbursed under warranty. Perform this update as soon as possible on any affected units in dealer inventory, and on all units sold and delivered to customers. Dealers should contact their LiveWire customers and arrange to perform this update. Updated release dates for OBC Software Updates, VSC Software Updates. TECHNICAL TIP BULLETIN TT474: LIVEWIRE - POWER DISCONNECT UPDATE. PURPOSE: Revision. An update to the power disconnect procedure has been made. The wait time of 2 minutes has been increased to 5 minutes to allow for proper system shut down on Electric LiveWire™ (ELW). This Technical Tip reinforces the ELW power disconnect procedure found in the owner's and service manuals. The power disconnect procedure must be followed whenever removing 12 V power. Disconnecting OBC [307-2] and not waiting 5 minutes after placing the OFF/RUN switch in OFF position can cause electrical issues including, but not limited to: • Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) generated. • Communication errors between the modules (OBC, Electric Vehicle Power-Train (EVPT), Rechargeable Energy Storage System (RESS)) that may be unrecoverable requiring replacement of the part.

SERVICE BULLETIN M1511: 2020 MODELS WITH TCU - FACTORY ENABLE. PURPOSE: To inform dealers that vehicles that are equipped with a TCU (Telematic Control Unit) will be arriving from the factory with the TCU already enabled. Dealers will no longer be required to enable the TCU during PDI (Predelivery Inspection). Customer will be able to activate the H-D Connect subscription as soon as the vehicle is delivered. Affected Date: Vehicles manufactured after February 22,2020.

SERVICE BULLETIN M1502: 2020 LIVEWIRE INITIAL CARE. PURPOSE: Revision. The purpose of this program is to monitor Harley-Davidson quality delivered to our customers. Harley-Davidson Technical Service is providing an initial care program for LiveWire™ vehicles. Harley-Davidson is asking dealers to provide information on the parts listed in M1502 to Harley-Davidson Technical Service within 24 h of a customer concern. The goal is to provide a rapid resolution that will enable us to have the customer back on the road within 72 h. Updated Initial Care Duration from September 27, 2019 through December 31, 2019.

Harley-Davidson is aware of conditions that may result in a streaking appearance or film residue on the inside of some instrument gauges including speedometer and tachometers. This may occur after exposure of the vehicle to humid conditions. This condition may remain even after the moisture has evaporated.
