SERVICE BULLETIN M1700 (REV B): IGNITION COIL HARNESS REPAIR KIT FOR CENTER-COOLED VEHICLES. PURPOSE: Revision B. Purpose for Service Bulletin: NOTE The repair in the bulletin DOES NOT qualify for Emissions therefore EMS claims will not be accepted. This bulletin informs dealers that there is an Ignition Coil Harness Repair Kit (Part No. 69203885) available in the event that there is damage found to the wire harness branch that goes to the Ignition Coil. See Figure 1. If any of the four wires going to connector [83B] (V/GN, GY/BE, R/GN, GN/BE) are damaged, the Ignition Coil Harness Repair Kit (Part No. 69203885) should be used. This bulletin informs dealers of a Skyline™ OS software update, version (260005057D), for 2023-2026 Touring and 2026 Trike vehicles equipped with an Infotainment Control Unit (IFCU). SERVICE BULLETIN M1679: AFTERMARKET EXHAUST HEADER DEBRIS. PURPOSE: Initial release. This bulletin informs dealers that Harley-Davidson has identified instances of premature engine failure due to abrasive particle wear, specifically from debris inside new aftermarket exhaust headers. Recent evaluations have identified that certain newly manufactured exhaust headers may contain residual hard particles that, if not removed prior to installation, can migrate through the engine system and cause accelerated component wear or severe mechanical damage.

SERVICE BULLETIN M1713 (REV C): DTII UPDATE PROCEDURE FOR SOFTWARE VERSION (26.4.3). PURPOSE: Revision C. This bulletin informs dealers that an issue was discovered in the Digital Technician II (DT II) software version (26.0.2), released on November 18, 2025. The issue prevents automatic software updates to be installed on your DT II computer. A manual installation of the latest DT II software version (26.4.3) will need to be performed if current DT II software version is (26.0.2), to allow future automatic updates. If a manual update to (26.1.5) or (26.3.2) has previously been completed, DT II will automatically update to (26.4.3) and no additional action is needed.. Revision C. This bulletin informs dealers of the availability of new batteries for new Original Equipment (OE) vehicle production and in the Parts and Accessories (P&A) catalog. Availability of the new Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) batteries will vary by market and will be transitioning over the next few months. NOTE: The ring terminal screws are not compatible between Leoch and East Penn batteries. The new batteries will include new ring terminal screws, which must be used. The ring terminal screws from the old battery need to be discarded.

SERVICE BULLETIN M1698: BILL OF MATERIALS CHANGE FOR CENTER-COOLED WARRANTY REPLACEMENT ENGINES. PURPOSE: Initial release. This bulletin informs dealers that starting on August 1, 2025, the Milwaukee-Eight Center-Cooled Direct Ship Warranty engines will not come with the decorative camshaft cover or Variable Valve Timing (VVT) solenoid. This involves all: • Non-VVT equipped Touring and Softail models • VVT solenoid equipped CVO models. NOTE: On VVT models, the solenoid opening will be plugged to prevent contamination.

SERVICE BULLETIN M1691: LINKED BRAKING FUNCTIONAL IMPROVEMENT. PURPOSE: Initial Release. This bulletin inform dealers that there is an Electro Hydraulic Control Unit (EHCU) update available. This update is to improve functionality of the Linked Braking System. Linked Braking allows for more balanced front and rear braking under a wide variety of brake applications. At speeds greater than 20 mph (32 km/h), the system dynamically adjusts the linking to achieve better braking balance, as compared to single input braking. The EHCU update improves Linked Braking with optimized front and rear brake proportioning while only the rear brake is being applied by the rider. This software update is to address a possible customer concern related to the smoothness of brake engagement during a linked braking event when only rear brake is applied. If a customer has concerns on this Linked Braking operation under these conditions, this improvement update can be applied. NOTE: For vehicles within factory warranty and concern is present, submit a warranty claim per Table 4.

SERVICE BULLETIN M1685: CUSTOM RIDE MODE SETTINGS NOT SAVING ON SKYLINE OS. PURPOSE: Initial Release. This bulletin informs dealers that when the Infotainment Control Unit (IFCU) is set to certain languages, any changes made to a custom ride mode will not save. This concern is found in 6 of the languages offered on the IFCU: Danish, Dutch, French (France), German, Japanese, Russian. Using any of the other 27 languages offered will allow changes to custom ride modes to be saved.

SERVICE BULLETIN M1683: INFOTAINMENT CONTROL UNIT (IFCU) MISSING WIFI MENU AND EMBEDDED NAVIGATION. PURPOSE: This bulletin informs dealers that in the event "VINERR" is displayed on the Infotainment Control Unit (IFCU), the IFCU will turn off the WiFi menu and Navigation. This is an as designed reaction to the "VINERR" message. In this condition functions such as WiFi, Wireless Apple CarPlay® and embedded Navigation will not work. "VINERR" will be displayed in the odometer if the IFCU and Electronic Control Module (ECM) are not seeing the same Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) in both modules. This can occur during module replacement, module swapping during testing, module updates or the installation of an aftermarket module. Warranty claims for this concern may be denied based on the cause.
