For 2021-2024 models the Body Control Module (BCM) and ECM update must both be completed. To accommodate this process, a threaded plug (Part No. 10500167) was added to the left rear of the fuel tank. When ordering replacement fuel tanks for 2021-2023 vehicles, they will come with the e-coat process. Dealers will need to order and install the threaded plug (Part No. 10500167) separately. Electronic Parts Catalogs are updated to reflect this information. NOTE: When ordering replacement fuel tanks for 2021-2023 Pan America vehicles, they will come non e-coated. PURPOSE: This bulletin informs dealers that these parts are now obsolete: Fuel Cap (Part No. 61000533), Locking Fuel Cap (Part No.61000616), Flange Plate (Part No. 61200068). Obsolete fuel caps and flange plates are not compatible with new ones. When replacing an obsolete fuel cap with new, the flange plate must also be replaced and vice versa. This applies to all 2021-2023 Pan America (RA 1250) and Pan America S (RA 1250S) models. Table 2 for fuel cap and flange plate kits that contain both components. SERVICE BULLETIN M1631: REVOLUTION MAX OIL CHECK PROCEDURE UPDATE. PURPOSE: To inform dealers of a new procedure for checking oil levels on Revolution® Max powered vehicles. The procedure has been updated to account for potential concerns of a low oil fill condition when set on the side stand. This condition could be caused by having varying degree lean angles of the vehicles in the Revolution® Max family while utilizing the same dipstick. Compounding this is the difference in lean angle of vehicles that come equipped with Adaptive Ride Height (ARH) set in the locked position (high) and set to drop when coming to a stop (low). To remedy this potential concern, the final step in checking the oil level will now be performed with the oil at operating temperature in the upright position for consistency across vehicle family and suspension settings. The side stand markings on the dipstick will only be used for a quick reference. NOTE: Oil levels checked on the side stand may read high after servicing the oil level in the upright position hot. This is a normal condition.

SERVICE BULLETIN M1615: 2024 REVOLUTION MAX CHARGING SYSTEM CHANGES. PURPOSE: This bulletin informs dealers of updates made to the charging system on 2024 Revolution® Max powered vehicles. For 2024, the charging system has been updated to improve electrical output at idle and low Revolutions Per Minute (rpm). Maximum output has remained the same. The following components have been changed: Stator and Stator Screws: The stator has increased in thickness, adding more wire length and longer stator screws; Cooling Manifold: The cooling manifold needed to be machined deeper to accommodate the stator size change; Alternator Cover Screws: The screws were shortened to prevent breaking through the new cooling manifold; Rotor Assembly: The magnets were moved, re-centering them over the new stator windings. NOTE: Using any of these parts in a 2021-2023 Revolution® Max motor can result in catastrophic engine failure. NOTE: All Parts Catalogs have been updated to show correct service part numbers.

Purpose: This bulletin informs dealers that the current software version for the Left Hand Control Module (LHCM) and Right Hand Control Module (RHCM) have Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) U04438F (reported by the LHCM) and U04318F (reported by the RHCM), that are being set-off intermittently, shortly after a starting event and then seen as historic DTCs but there are no actual faults or operational concerns with the vehicle. In these cases where these codes are being found as historic, no further troubleshooting or hardware replacement should take place to resolve these historic DTCs. PURPOSE: This bulletin informs dealers that on Pan America⢠vehicles the transport mode procedure will not fully place the bike in transport mode and the battery can still be drained. While the bike will appear to be in transport mode the Controller Area Network (CAN) bus remains awake and will draw down the battery.

SERVICE BULLETIN M1529: PAN AMERICA - PDI BCM REFLASH. PURPOSE: This bulletin informs dealers that current Pan America⢠vehicles have been found to contain a software error that may cause a no start condition. A software update to the Body Control Module (BCM) is required.

SERVICE BULLETIN M1525: 2021 PAN AMERICA - FAIRING LOWER RUNNING CHANGE. PURPOSE: Is to inform dealers that there has been a running change to the 2021 Pan America fairing lowers. The only service replacements offered are the revised version of the fairing lowers. If a cosmetic issue is discovered during Predelivery Inspection (PDI), order and replace both left and right fairing lower components. The replacement of both components only applies to vehicles built before the running change.

Harley-Davidson is aware of conditions that may result in a streaking appearance or film residue on the inside of some instrument gauges including speedometer and tachometers. This may occur after exposure of the vehicle to humid conditions. This condition may remain even after the moisture has evaporated.
