SB-15-026 A subject vehicle may exhibit an engine oil leak or engine coolant leaking externally from the engine head gasket sealing area on the exhaust manifold side of the engine. An improved head gasket has been made available as a service part and should be used if replacement of the head gasket is necessary. Improvement of the head gasket includes the addition of rubber seals around the engine oil and engine coolant port holes.

In some rare cases one or both dowel pins may have come out with the transmission during removal. If flex plate is broken, please confirm that the two dowel pins can be found either on the rear engine housing or on the transmission housing.
