Technical service bulletins are instructions a manufacturer sent its dealers about a known fault. They are not recalls and the work is usually not free, but they are the clearest signal of a problem the manufacturer already knows about.

Service news article - To prevent damage during shipping, leather-wrapped steering wheels come with a protective plastic covering. The easiest way to remove it during PDI is to grab the covering with both hands near the top of the steering wheel and pull it toward you, like you see here. The covering comes right off.

SERVICE BULLETIN - HONDA IS LAUNCHING A SAFETY RECALL ON THE HONDA GENUINE ACCESSORY REAR TRUNK BASE FOR 2011-2016 PCX125/150 SCOOTERS FOR A POTENTIAL DEFECT THAT MAY ALLOW THE TRUNK TO FALL OFF THE SCOOTER WHILE RIDING. THE PORTION OF THE REAR TRUNK BASE THAT LOCKS THE TRUNK TO THE BASE IS INCORRECTLY DIMENSIONED AND MAY CAUSE INCOMPLETE LOCKING OF THE TRUNK TO THE BASE.
Complaint counts are reports filed with NHTSA, not failure rates. A common model collects more of them than a rare one that breaks more often.
