INDIAN MOTORCYCLE RIDE COMMAND 1.3.1 SOFTWARE OVERVIEW (7” DISPLAYS) The new Ride Command 1.3.1 software includes a new feature and many great usability improvements. The software comes standard on all model year 2023 Challenger, Indian Pursuit, Chieftain and Roadmaster bikes. It will be sent out as an over-the-air update on connected bikes (on 3/6/23) and can also be downloaded from the Ride Command website on any model year 2020 or newer Challenger, Indian Pursuit, Chieftain or Roadmaster.

As part of our program to address this matter, Polaris is sending letters to impacted consumers to outline the nature of this matter and provide options on having updated software installed. Consumers will be encouraged to perform the update themselves but will be given the option to bring vehicles into a dealership for this software update to be performed at no cost to them.

The interface walks the dealer and the customer through a standardized online form that includes the PDI (pre-delivery inspection), general warnings, assembly and inspection, safety bulletins, test ride, customer information, customer walkaround and discussion, and customer acceptance. This application has been proven in dealerships to automate document retention, streamline vehicle setup, and provide a consistent, professional customer experience. Vehicles shipped after 11/1/2015 no longer include a paper PDI form with the vehicle setup material; instead dealers should complete the vehicle setup and PDI using the PCDX application, which can be located on the Dealer Website under Service and Warranty – PCDX.
