AEB WARNING WITH ONE OR MORE CURRENT DTCS STORED IN THE ADAS CONTROL UNIT 2, AND/OR THE LASER/RADAR CONTROL UNIT IF YOU CONFIRM The front radar is inoperative, the AEB warning is displayed, and one or more of the following DTCs are stored as CURRENT: · U2752-88 for “Ethernet circuit” stored in the ADAS control unit 2, · U275F-88 for “Ethernet circuit” stored in the LASER/RADAR (DISTANCE SENSOR) control unit, OR · C2589-86 for “TCM” stored in the LASER/RADAR (DISTANCE SENSOR) control unit, AND/OR · C258E-86 for “ABS” stored in the LASER/RADAR (DISTANCE SENSOR) control unit. ACTION 1. Confirm the current Distance Sensor control unit part number. 2. Reprogram the Distance Sensor control unit, if applicable. CERTIFICATION LABEL AND VIN PLATE REPLACEMENT SERVICE INFORMATION Because of collision damage or other vehicle repair, a replacement “Certification Label” or “VIN Plate/Label” may be needed. HINT: Certification Label = FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) label. These items may be available from Infiniti by request if certain criteria are met. This bulletin lists the criteria and provides an application form for such replacements. · The “VIN Plate/Label” (metal plate or vinyl label) is attached to the instrument panel or body on the driver side at the base of the windshield (see Figure 1). · The “Certification Label” (vinyl adhesive label) is located on the lower area of the driver side B-Pillar (see Figure 1).

FRONT FASCIA POPPING OUT NEAR HEADLAMP IF YOU CONFIRM The Front Bumper Fascia is detaching from the fender under the headlamp on one/or both sides. ACTION Refer to the SERVICE PROCEDURE in this bulletin to: 1. Remove the Front Bumper Fascia. 2. Replace the affected Headlamp Bracket. 3. Replace the affected Front Bumper Fascia Side Bracket. 4. Reinstall the Front Bumper Fascia, with Betaseal (or equivalent) adhesive between the Front Bumper Fascia and the affected side Front Bumper Fascia Side Bracket.

FUEL FILLER TUBE LOWER SEAL IS LEAKING AND DTC P0456 IS STORED IN THE ECM IF YOU CONFIRM The vehicle has a visible leak with a smoke machine test coming from the fuel filler tube lower seal, AND DTC P0456 is stored as “Active”, “Past”, or “Pending” in the ECM. ACTION 1. Remove the supplied funnel from the rear of the vehicle or trunk. 2. Insert the funnel completely in the fuel filler tube and remove completely five (5) times. 3. Re-check the fuel filler tube lower seal with a smoke machine to determine visually if any leak is present. 4. If the fuel filler lower seal continues to leak, replace the fuel filler tube. METAL TICKING NOISE AT B-PILLAR IF YOU CONFIRM A metallic ticking noise is coming from the driver (LH) side and/or passenger (RH) side B-Pillar when driving the vehicle on various road surfaces. ACTION Refer to the SERVICE INFORMATION in this bulletin to adjust the inner support of the affected B-Pillar. VENT CONTROL VALVE IN ACTIVE TEST INOPERATIVE IN CONSULT 4 SERVICE INFORMATION An issue in CONSULT 4 has been identified in “EVAP system close” in Work support. · After selecting the "EVAP system close" in Work support, the “VENT CONTROL/V” in Active test becomes non-functional temporarily. · When selecting “EVAP system close” operation in Work support, wait 10 minutes before starting “VENT CONTROL/V” Active test or cycle the IGN switch ON/OFF for “VENT CONTROL/V” Active test to be operational. HINT: This bulletin applies to model years that use CONSULT 4 only.

SPEAKERS EXHIBIT INTERMITTENT BOOMING, HEAVY BASS OR RATTLING WHEN ENGINE RPM CHANGES IF YOU CONFIRM The client complains of the speakers exhibiting an intermittent booming, heavy bass, or rattling when the engine RPM changes. ACTION Refer to the SERVICE PROCEDURE below to: 1. Ensure the ANC SETTING is turned ON. 2. Reprogram the Audio Amplifier, if applicable.

EXCESS DUST ENTERING CABIN WHILE DRIVING ON DIRT ROADS IF YOU CONFIRM That while driving on dirt roads with all doors and windows closed, that there is excessive dust intrusion into the vehicle’s cabin that is settling on the inside of the doors. ACTION Refer to the SERVICE PROCEDURE in the bulletin to: 1. Install Butyl Patches around the door seals of driver (LH) side and passenger (RH) side front and rear doors. 2. Install drain plugs into door drains of driver (LH) side and passenger (RH) side front and rear doors.

AIR CONDITIONING IS INOPERATIVE WITH LEAK FROM HIGH/LOW SIDE PIPE JUNCTION IF YOU CONFIRM The client states that the A/C is not blowing cold or is blowing warm on driver’s side vents, AND Leak detection dye is confirmed as present on the high-pressure and low-pressure A/C pipe junction blocks. HINT: See Refrigerant Leak Examples on page 2. ACTION Replace the A/C High-Pressure and Low-Pressure Pipe. · Refer to the ESM: VENTILATION, HEATER & AIR CONDITIONER > HEATER & AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM > REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > COOLER PIPE AND HOSE > HIGH-PRESSURE AND LOW-PRESSURE PIPE > Removal
