Service bulletins

88 bulletins

Technical service bulletins are instructions a manufacturer sent its dealers about a known fault. They are not recalls and the work is usually not free, but they are the clearest signal of a problem the manufacturer already knows about.

This document is to inform dealers, customers, and body builders/TEMs of a known BCM software issue with kernels 747 through 752. Units built after November of 2024 as well as older units that were updated with DLB between 11/5/2024 and 6/26/2025 with Remote Power Modules (RPM) modules, can experience loss of RPM functionality as well as other electrical system concerns. Kernel 753 was released to DLB on 6/26/2025 to address these concerns.

This tool is designed to compare Diamond Logic feature data across multiple vehicle configuration files. It allows users to quickly load files either manually or directly from the Diamond Logic Builder Vehicles folder using VIN-based selection. As files are added or removed, the comparison runs automatically with no manual action required. The program presents results in an interactive table that shows feature codes, descriptions, access levels, and whether each feature is present in each selected file. Built-in search, filtering, and sorting make it easy to locate specific features or focus only on differences between files. Column visibility can be customized to show or hide descriptions and access information as needed. Users can remove files individually or clear all files at once, with results updating instantly. The tool also includes reporting and export options that reflect exactly what is visible on screen, allowing results to be printed, copied, saved as text, or exported to CSV for use in Excel or other spreadsheet tools. Overall, the program streamlines the process of comparing vehicle feature configurations, helping users quickly identify differences, validate setups, and document results without manual comparison or external tools.

In some geographic areas, ambient temperatures reaching below 40°F (4°C), including high levels of humidity, an operator may experience engine stalling, low performance, and/or poor aftertreatment performance. This is caused by condensation accumulating and freezing within the Charge Air Cooler (CAC); affecting air flow into the engine. This article lists currently available winter front covers that can be installed on the front grille and bumper to reduce cold air flow to the engine compartment.

IK0600030

In some instances, the driver's or passenger's door pod may become unresponsive, where it will not respond to any manual inputs from the driver or passenger. In some of these situations, it is possible for this symptom to be present without any fault codes becoming active. This article will guide the user through performing a hard reset of a door pod, which can restore the door pod to its operational condition, thereby avoiding the need for replacement. The steps in this article should be performed BEFORE diagnostics are completed for any active faults.

IK0800688

Service Bulletin/Repair Instructions

This document is to notify the field of an issue with BCM that causes various electrical system concerns after the vehicle sits for 2-3 days. This can affect all LT, RH, MV, HV models, 2021MY and up HX, 2024MY and up CE Bus with BCM kernel version 752, 753, and 754. Vehicles built or updated with DLB between 6/1/25 and 11/4/25 are suspected of having these kernels installed on the BCM. The most common complaint is that the steering wheel switches do not function, which, depending on the vehicle model and options, can cause the bus door, pupil warning lights, radio controls, marker interrupt, and cruise control to stop working. Other complaints can include short circuit faults from multiple sensor circuits attached to the BCM setting at the same time, the vehicle will not go into gear, the headlights are stuck on, the brake lights are stuck on, or the parking brake alarm is sounding (horn chirping) with the parking brake set. As of 11/4/25, these symptoms can be resolved by updating the BCM to kernel 755 or later with DLB.

Per agreement with EPA and CARB, Cummins, Inc. provided an emergency calibration for Cummins ISB, B6.7, ISL9, L9, and X15 engines when a DEF Quality Sensor (DQS) was not available. This action addressed the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Quality Sensor failures in the field and the unavailability of parts due to the worldwide chip shortage. This recall is step two of this program designed to revert all affected vehicles back to the certified calibration and to provide them with the latest improved DQS and Coolant Control Valve (CCV) designs. Additionally, the emergency calibration and the restoration to the certified calibration with the latest improved DQS and Coolant Control Valve (CCV) designs have no effect on vehicle Emissions.
