CAUSE: THE MULTI METER RANGE MAYBE SET AT 'AUTO' AND DURING A SWEEP OF THE SENDER FROM 50OHMS TO 998OHMS THE MULTI METER HAS TO CHANGE ITS MEASUREMENT RANGE. FOR APPROXIMATELY 1 SECOND, DURING THE RANGE SWITCH OVER POINT, THE MULTI METER DISPLAY INDICATES AN OPEN CIRCUIT. THIS IS INCORRECTLY BEING DIAGNOSED AS A SENDER FAULT

AS A RESULT OF THIS THE LED LIGHTING ON THE TRAILER BOARD MAY FLICKER DURING THE SENSING FUNCTION.
