Fuel Delivery Module Before replacing the fuel module for DTCs P0461 and P062A and other not start, long crank, fuel gauge accuracy and drivability issues, the technician should disconnect the electrical connector at the pump and perform a visual inspection of the connector for and bent, spread, or pushed out terminals. Repair any issues found. Reconnect the plug and perform a push pull push to ensure the connector is fully installed. Then perform 3 keys cycles and listen to hear if the fuel pump is operational. If the fuel pump is heard that indicates that everything is operating correctly. If the pump is heard replacement is not necessary, any replacement will function in the same way.

Flash: Power Liftgate Module (PLGM) Updates Customers may experience one or more of the following symptoms: SYMPTOM: ● Power Liftgate does not operate. The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) may display "Liftgate Open", a warning light may illuminate even though the liftgate appears fully closed, and an audible chime may be generated at speeds above 8 kph (5 mph). Rear Taillamp Condensation Clearing Procedure On occasion, vehicle exterior taillamp assemblies get fogged with a light layer of condensation on the SYMPTOM: inside of the lenses Fig. 1. This may be reported after the lamps have been turned on and brought up to operating temperature, turned off and then rapidly cooled by cold water (such as rain, or the water from a vehicle wash). Lens fogging can also occur under certain atmospheric conditions after a vehicle has been parked outside overnight (i.e. a warm humid day followed by clear cool night). This will usually clear as atmospheric conditions change to allow the condensation to change back into a vapor. Turning the taillamps on will usually accelerate this process. This bulletin is to communicate the procedure for rear taillamp condensation clearing.

Rear Taillamp Condensation Clearing Procedure On occasion, vehicle exterior taillamp assemblies get fogged with a light layer of condensation on the SYMPTOM: inside of the lenses Fig. 1. This may be reported after the lamps have been turned on and brought up to operating temperature, turned off and then rapidly cooled by cold water (such as rain, or the water from a vehicle wash). Lens fogging can also occur under certain atmospheric conditions after a vehicle has been parked outside overnight (i.e. a warm humid day followed by clear cool night). This will usually clear as atmospheric conditions change to allow the condensation to change back into a vapor. Turning the taillamps on will usually accelerate this process. This bulletin is to communicate the procedure for rear taillamp condensation clearing.

The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) may display "Liftgate Open", a warning light may illuminate even though the liftgate appears fully closed, and an audible chime may be generated at speeds above 8 kph (5 mph). The liftgate cannot be opened using the front interior switch, key fob, Hands Free kick or exterior handle. ● The power liftgate will not open. ● The power liftgate system chimes when trying to operate the liftgate using a Hands Free Entry (HFE) kick while no key is detected in the zone. ● After enabling or disabling the HFE kick or the Power Liftgate Alert feature, the PLGM does not save the changes. ● Vehicle will not start due to a depleted battery. ● The power liftgate latch releases after pressing the exterior handle switch, but the liftgate does not power open. Underhood start/stop safety The customer may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC): - P152E Engine -Hood Switch 2 Circuit High. - DTC P152F Customers may also experience: - Start/Stop system warning light. - Start/Stop inoperable. - Remote start inoperable. Diagnosis: - Using a Scan Tool (wiTECH) with the appropriate Diagnostic Procedures available in DealerCONNECT/Service Library, verify all related systems are functioning as designed. If DTCs or symptom conditions, other than the one listed are present, record the issues on the repair order and repair as necessary before proceeding further with this bulletin. - If any vehicle exhibits any of the symptoms listed above in the customer symptom section, perform the Repair Procedure. - Special Tools/Equipment: wiTECH or equivalent. Repair Procedure: 1. Open the hood and locate the hood switch 2. Push in on the two locking tabs and pull them out. 3. Disconnect the wire connector from the switch. 4. Connect the wires to the same hood switch. 5. Push the switch back into the hold until both lock tab are engaged. 6. Clear all DTCs that may have been set in any module during this repair procedure. 7. In case the P152F/P152E DTCs persist, repeat the procedure with a new/spare/known good switch and repeat steps 5 and 6. 8. Replace switch installed during previous step for the original switch of the vehicle. If DTCs P152F/P152E are not present, leave the original switch installed and do not document the change of the switch in the repair process/narrative.
