Transmission Kit with Torque Converter 1. All Promaster (VF) 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the transmission bracket to the transmission case fasteners are removed during servicing, the fasteners (Part Number 06511385A$) are one-time usage. Vehicles built prior to 10/23/2015 requires Service Kit PN 68461214AA; includes Transmission Isolator PN 68264483AA, and Adaptation Bracket 68264479AA and Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA Vehicles built after on or after 10/23/2015 will require only the Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA. 2. All 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the vehicle you are repairing has a crack in the flex plate or failed pump bushing inspect and confirm that both (2) dowel pins are present in the engine block, which align the transmission center line to the crank shaft centerline and visually inspect the dowel alignment holes in the transmission case. If the holes are damaged or elongated the transmission should be replaced to prevent further damage to the transmission/flexplate or pump bushing due to the inability to properly align the engine to the transmission during the repair. 3. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If pump bushing is scored or damaged and the dowel pin alignment holes are ok, replace the pump assembly as opposed to complete transmission. 4. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If vehicle is jerking/slipping with MIL code(s) P0740 or P2764, check TCC Solenoid operation. If TCC Solenoid is ok, the codes are indicative of a torque converter failure. Replace the torque converter.

Customer Satisfaction Notification S80 Aftermarket Dana 60 Front Axle The aftermarket front axle steering knuckles have been machined with an incorrect taper during the manufacturing process on about 250 of the above vehicles, with approximately 80 of the axles sold by Mopar aftermarket. This condition can result in premature axle knuckle wear. The aftermarket front axle knuckles must be replaced with new axle knuckles for the left side and right side.

Hands Free Module Prompts Begin Erroneously This bulletin involves diagnosing and based on outcome, either performing a USB flash or replacing the Mopar accessory Hands Free Module (HFM). A customer may experience the Uconnect prompts begin to play without pressing the Voice Recognition (VR) button. The prompt may repeat itself two or three times before exiting. The customer satisfaction enhancements are included with this software release. PANEL, Targa Top, Complete with Hardware For water sloshing noise in the Targa Top Panel, do not replace the panel. There is a drain hole along the rear edge of the panel (in car position). After draining the panels, inform the customer of the drain hole and if the issue returns they can drain the panels themselves. Storage of panels outdoors in certain positions will cause water infiltration.~ ~ For a water leak from the center front edge of the Targa Top Panels, do not replace the panels, replace the SEAL, Targa Top (Part Number 68088055AA).

Flash: HVAC System Improvements This bulletin involves updating the HVAC control module with new software. The customer may notice that the blower motor speed may slow down at times. This condition will only happen at mid to high ambient temperatures, 75F (24C) or higher. Also the A/C request may be locked on after a remote start. Only after the vehicle is turned off and restarted, will the customer be able to turn the A/C on or off.

RHR Radio Issue Description: Issue 1: While performing RHR radio reflash (software update), on rare occasions, the flash can fail to properly update the radio resulting in the radio running in Emergency IFS mode. This error condition can occur due to interrupting the software update, background radio operations interfering with the reflash process, etc. The radio will reboot, but with limited functionality ( may include but are not limited to: NAV, Voice Recognition, Bluetooth, or AUX jack are inop, no available space shown on HDD, etc.). The radio can still be properly updated by simply reinserting the software update disc and performing the reflash procedure again. To assist in the verification that the radio is running Emergency IFS perform the 1. Power on radio~ 2. Press MENU H/K~ 3. Press System Setup S/K~ 4. Press Manage HDD S/K~ 5. Press Display Available Space on HDD S/K~ 6. When running Emergency IFS, all items under Used, Available, and Capacity report as dashes Issue 2: If you are having troubles connecting a phone or a MP3 player, try removing the battery on the device and then going through the pairing/connection procedure again. If you cannot remove the battery on the device, perform a reboot. Each manufacturer has a different series of buttons to hold down to perform a reboot. If the problem still persists, try the device on another like vehicle with the same radio. If you are having the same connection issues on another like vehicle, the device may be faulty or it may not be compatible with the RHR radio. Go to www.chrysler.com/hostb/crossbrand/owners/en and click on ?Bluetooth Phone Compatibility Test Results? link for a list of phones that are compatible. Intermittently Front Heated Seats Inoperative This bulletin involves diagnosing and replacing the elements for the front heated seat backs and cushion, if needed. The customer may experience an intermittent condition where one or both front heated seat are inoperative. This condition will only occur when temperatures are below 10F/-12C degrees. When temperatures drop, the resistance values of the heated seat circuits will drop below specification and set DTC, B1092 - Front Left Seat Heater Control Circuit Low and/or B1096 - Front Right Seat Heater Control Circuit Low. Once the vehicle warms up the condition will be gone.

RHW RHP Radio Software Enhancements This bulletin involves upgrading the software on the RHW or RHP Radio. The customer may experience one or more of the following conditions. Navigation voice prompt is now announced near maneuvers such as exit ramps. Radio freeze when playing large number of .M4A or .WMA files,and recovers with ignition cycle. Battery signal strength display is not displayed into the radio screen (with iPhone 5). Traffic Announcement and Voice Recognition share the same volume control. New Safety Recall Advanced Communication ? M31050813 Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) announced a safety recall on certain 2008 through 2012 model year (JK) Jeep Wrangler vehicles equipped with a Right Hand Drive (RHD) steering configuration (sales code AHF) and built for U.S specifications (sales code YAA). Some of the above vehicles may have an airbag system clockspring assembly that could experience a compromised airbag circuit. This condition could result in an airbag warning lamp illumination. Chrysler will conduct a voluntary safety recall on all affected RHD vehicles to replace the airbag system clockspring. Additionally, 2008 through 2010 model year vehicles will receive a steering wheel dust shield. NOTE: Safety Recall L37 which provided an interim repair for this issue is being cancelled. Involved vehicle owners will be sent a second owner notification requesting they have their vehicle repaired. Dealers will be notified of the launch of this safety recall by way of established methods used in the past. We ask that you please take the time to ensure that your personnel are aware of this communication and are prepared to execute a customer friendly process for inquiries on involved vehicles.
