ENGINE Recall
Jerr-Dan Corporation (Jerr-Dan) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Heavy Duty Wrecker vehicles equipped with the optional recovery remote control. If the remote and control system switch is not turned off by the operator, after three minutes of remote inactivity, the truck's engine may unexpectedly shut down.
Remedy: Jerr-Dan will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the remote, free of charge. The recall began August 15, 2019. Owners may contact Jerr-Dan customer service at 1-800-926-9666.
