Subject: Safety Risk of Fire on Ottawa T2E Models Units Affected: All battery-electric Ottawa Model T2E terminal tractors Possible Situation: If the battery box housing and/or cover becomes damaged (including dented or for any reason the seal is compromised), there exists a risk of fire even if the unit is not operating. Solution: As indicated in the Operatorâs Manual, you should immediately cease operating the unit and contact Kalmar immediately if the battery is damaged in any way.
