A photo of the two ring terminals and a caution statement have been added to the Dana Cradle Harness Removal and Installation Procedure. Safety Recall Parts and procedures are now available. Interim flagging has been removed from chassis in the PACCAR Registration and Warranty System and will now display the safety recall number. Refer to Bulletin 99-048 for details. The chassis affected population has increased.

Safety Recall 25KWD: K270E/K370E Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Dana Cradle Harness Connector Safety Recall Parts and procedures are now available. Interim SIR bulletin flagging in the PACCAR Registration and Warranty System has now been replaced with the campaign number. Refer to Bulletin 99-048 for details. The chassis affected population has increased.

K270E/K370E Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) rely on 12V batteries that act as a buffer when the converter cannot meet peak 12V demand causing additional stress to the batteries. This can lead to depleted 12V batteries.

On certain Kenworth K270E/K370E Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), timer 2 for the HED Telematic device may malfunction inside the cab harness. Due to this malfunction, the fuse for the telematic device is being triggered.

Info Only Dealers/body builders installing liftgates onto K270E/K370E BEV trucks must use 24-volt liftgate systems. 12-volt liftgate systems are not compatible with vehicle electrical systems.

Info Only - PACCAR is introducing Over-the-Air (OTA) software updates for engine MY17 and newer chassis equipped with Cummins X15, X12, ISX12, ISX12N, L9N, PX-7, and PX-9 engines The technology will leverage the existing Remote Diagnostic cs hardware to deliver secure software updates remotely. This will reduce downtime and save on maintenance costs for eligible vehicles.
