Letter to dealers for KSB-191007. This process describes the repair where under certain temperature conditions the Norco slide cable system gearbox may leak oil/grease on the slide roof membrane. This is the repair instructions for advisory 17-283. It has been determined some 2017 Raptor and Carbon models were built without removing a piece of cardboard temporarily used as protection for the return section of the furnace during the manufacturing process. The cardboard protection needs to be removed to allow the furnace to function properly.
Complaint counts are reports filed with NHTSA, not failure rates. A common model collects more of them than a rare one that breaks more often.
