Technical service bulletins are instructions a manufacturer sent its dealers about a known fault. They are not recalls and the work is usually not free, but they are the clearest signal of a problem the manufacturer already knows about.

THIS ADVISORY 15-244 INVOLVES UNITS MANUFACTURED WITH A POTENTIAL SLIT IN THE ROOF MEMBRANE THAT MAY HAVE OCCURRED BEHIND THE FRONT CAP. IF THE ROOF MEMBRANE IS NOT REPLACED, THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR WATER DAMAGE.
