Technical service bulletins are instructions a manufacturer sent its dealers about a known fault. They are not recalls and the work is usually not free, but they are the clearest signal of a problem the manufacturer already knows about.

During routine quality checks, it was discovered that the rotor screws #0912060206 AH SCREW DIN 912 M6X20 on the above-mentioned vehicles were not correctly tightened in isolated cases. To prevent a possible malfunction, KTM North America, Inc. is instructing that the screw connection be revised.
Complaint counts are reports filed with NHTSA, not failure rates. A common model collects more of them than a rare one that breaks more often.
