Technical service bulletins are instructions a manufacturer sent its dealers about a known fault. They are not recalls and the work is usually not free, but they are the clearest signal of a problem the manufacturer already knows about.

This Service Advisory informs affected owners of model year 2012-2018 J4500 model coaches that the Fan Test Switch, in the remote JBox, in some instances has been accidentally turned on and left on, resulting in the engine running cool and inefficient for extended periods of time and that MCI has developed 2 interim options and that MCI will be cutting in as a standard, a switch cover. An exact VIN cut in number is currently in process.

This Service Bulletin must be implemented in conjunction with MCI Procedure 7-135.
