Technical service bulletins are instructions a manufacturer sent its dealers about a known fault. They are not recalls and the work is usually not free, but they are the clearest signal of a problem the manufacturer already knows about.
ZR-TSIB-015
McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing offers these instructions for the installation of a hydraulic reservoir breather upgrade kit to reduce oil leakage in in-body hydraulic reservoirs and frame mounted hydraulic reservoirs on Zero Radius (ZR) Side Loader refuse vehicles.
MISC-TSIB-081
According to an amended ruling in the visual inspection labeling requirement in Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 304, the periodic inspection interval for compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel containers has been modified to âat least every 12 months.â McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing will support this change by updating safety decals and installing these new decals when a vehicle is inspected by McNeilus CNG technicians, and by answering questions regarding this periodic inspection interval update and how McNeilus will support it.

McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing provides these instructions for installing a hydraulic reservoir cork gasket. The installation of this gasket will repair leaks coming from the gasket between the in-tank filter and the reservoir.

McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing offers these instructions for the installation (retrofit installation) of a streetside panel/door on the tailgate in an effort to reduce trash buildup behind the CNG cover. This is for Zero Radius trucks with roof mounted compressed national gas (CNG) units.
ZR-TSIB-014
McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing offers these instructions for the installation of an alternative divider from a different supplier (due to supply chain shortages). This new flow divider will function the same as the old valve.

ZR-TSIB-012-A
This bulletin, previously released in December 2017, has been updated to provide a consolidated parts list. This bulletin instructs how to remove the Zero Radius? (ZR) grabber carriage motor bolts and replace with studs if the motor bolts are loosening.
MISC-TSIB-072 -
This technical service information bulletin describes the replacement of a snapper pin with a bolted joint in the body service lift pin assembly. The body service lift is used to raise the refuse collection body during maintenance operations. The snapper pins are adequate for retaining the body service lift pins, however the new method being used in production is a bolt and nut connection.
RS-TSB-011 - Zer
This bulletin consists of removing the bonded hydraulic hoses (hoses that are attached to each other into a hose assembly) and replacing with individual hydraulic hoses (non-bonded) with a fabric wrap installed. The hydraulic hose assembly powers the arm that picks up garbage containers. This is being done to extend the service life of the hydraulic hose.

This bulletin was initially intended for a single customer. The bulletin has now been released for a second customer requesting the update. ZR-TSIB-011
This is an informational bulletin advising customers that when the ZR grabber carriage rollers become worn and need replacing there is a new part number available. The new parts provide an improved way to lubricate the rollers that should increase the expected life of the rollers. The bulletin includes instructions on how to remove and replace the new carriage rollers. The ZR grabber arm is the component that extends out from the truck during trash pickup and grabs a trash container and empties it into an automated side loading garbage truck.
Complaint counts are reports filed with NHTSA, not failure rates. A common model collects more of them than a rare one that breaks more often.
