MIL ON WITH DTC P0181 STORED IN THE ECM IF YOU CONFIRM The customer states the MIL is ON but the vehicle does not have any drivability concerns or reduced power message in the combination meter, AND DTC P0181 for “Fuel Tank Temperature” is stored in either “Past” or “Current” in the ECM. ACTION Follow the SERVICE PROCEDURE in this bulletin to: 1. Replace the fuel temperature sensor. 2. Erase all the DTCs.

CERTIFICATION LABEL AND VIN PLATE REPLACEMENT SERVICE INFORMATION Because of collision damage or other vehicle repair, a replacement “Certification Label” or “VIN Plate/Label” may be needed. HINT: Certification Label = FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) label. These items may be available from Nissan by request if certain criteria are met. This bulletin lists the criteria and provides an application form for such replacements. · The “VIN Plate/Label” (metal plate or vinyl label) is attached to the instrument panel or body on the driver side at the base of the windshield (see Figure 1). · The “Certification Label” (vinyl adhesive label) is located on the lower area of the driver side B-Pillar (see Figure 1).

FUEL FILLER TUBE LOWER SEAL IS LEAKING AND DTC P0456 IS STORED IN THE ECM IF YOU CONFIRM The vehicle has a visible leak with a smoke machine test coming from the fuel filler tube lower seal, AND DTC P0456 is stored as “Active”, “Past”, or “Pending” in the ECM. ACTION 1. Remove the supplied funnel from the rear of the vehicle or trunk. 2. Insert the funnel completely in the fuel filler tube and remove completely five (5) times. 3. Re-check the fuel filler tube lower seal with a smoke machine to determine visually if any leak is present. 4. If the fuel filler lower seal continues to leak, replace the fuel filler tube. VENT CONTROL VALVE IN ACTIVE TEST INOPERATIVE IN CONSULT 4 SERVICE INFORMATION An issue in CONSULT 4 has been identified in “EVAP system close” in Work support. · After selecting the "EVAP system close" in Work support, the “VENT CONTROL/V” in Active test becomes non-functional temporarily. · When selecting “EVAP system close” operation in Work support, wait 10 minutes before starting “VENT CONTROL/V” Active test or cycle the IGN switch ON/OFF for “VENT CONTROL/V” Active test to be operational. HINT: This bulletin applies to model years that use CONSULT 4 only.

CAMPAIGN BULLETIN Monroney Label NCAP Rating Reference: PD171, PMA54 Date: September 26, 2025 Attention: Dealer Principal, Sales, Service & Parts Managers *****Dealer Announcement***** To ensure continued customer satisfaction and confidence, Nissan is conducting a quality action on certain specific model year 2025 Nissan Frontier and Kicks vehicles identified in Service Comm. This action updates the Monroney labels to reflect certain safety ratings issued by NHTSA. Dealers will replace original Monroney labels with corrected Monroney labels. Nissan will send VIN-specific corrected labels to address affected vehicles in dealer inventory. New labels will begin shipping via Federal Express Thursday, September 25, 2025. Dealers will replace original Monroney labels with corrected Monroney labels. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer.

SERVICE INFORMATION FOR DTC B2F70-01 AND/OR B2F70-02 STORED IN THE ECM SERVICE INFORMATION If either DTC B2F70-01 and/or B2F70-02 for “STOP LAMP” is stored in the ECM, check the gap measurement for the lower Brake Pedal Switch with the SERVICE PROCEDURE starting on page 2. If the gap is incorrect, it is recommended to correct the gap measurement, perform Erase All DTCs, and Perform DTC Confirmation Procedure before proceeding with the rest of the ESM diagnostic steps for DTC B2F70-01 and/or B2F70-02. HINT: • The lower Brake Pedal Switch is also called Brake Switch 1, Brake Pedal Position Switch, and ASCD Switch in the ESM. • The lower switch is manually adjusted, the upper switch is self-adjusting.

LEFT AND/OR RIGHT REAR DOOR REAR SASH COVER IS LOOSE OR MISSING IF YOU CONFIRM Either the left and/or the right Rear Door Rear Sash Cover is loose or missing. HINT: A loose Rear Door Rear Sash Cover can be lifted at the top/forward corner shown in Figure 1 with one (1) finger and only a few pounds of effort. The driver (LH) side is shown in Figure 1. The passenger (RH) side is similar. ACTION Replace the affected Rear Door Rear Sash Cover with part listed in the PARTS INFORMATION. ECM REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE REQUIRED FOR RES EQUIPPED VEHICLES SERVICE INFORMATION If any of the APPLIED VEHICLES equipped with Remote Engine Start (RES) requires Engine Control Module (ECM) replacement, the Body Control Module (BCM) must be replaced also at the same time. If you are not familiar with the Re/programming, Configuration procedure, refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) and the CONSULT Operation Manual to reprogram the Electronic Control Unit (ECU). Follow all precautions in both manuals to prevent possible personal injury or death and/or damage to the ECU.  This procedure will go back and forth between the ECM and BCM steps as found in the ESM.  Damage will occur requiring the ECM and the BCM to be replaced a second time if the following SERVICE PROCEDURE is not followed. Perform the following steps from the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) in this order: A. Perform “Work Procedure (Before Replacing ECM)” to save the ECM data. B. Remove the ECM. C. Remove the BCM. D. Install the new BCM and then perform “Additional Service When Replacing BCM - Work Procedure” up to and including “Register of Vehicle Identification Number”. E. Install the new ECM and then perform “Additional Service When Replacing ECM - Work Procedure (After Replacing ECM)” up to and including “Writing MAC Key for ECM”. F. Complete the “Additional Service When Replacing BCM - Work Procedure”. G. Complete the “Additional Service When Replacing ECM - Work Procedure (After Replacing ECM)”.
