A blinking AEB warning light may occur under the following conditions: When contamination or foreign material adhere to the lane camera viewing window on the windshield. When driving while it is snowing or when frost forms on the lane camera viewing window on the windshield. When the lane camera viewing window on the windshield is temporarily fogged up. FLUID LEAK FROM THE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL CASE ACTUATOR MOTOR PLASTIC THREADS SERVICE INFORMATION Figure 1 Figure 2 If the front differential has a fluid leak coming from the actuator motor plastic threads (Figure 1): a. Place an alignment mark on the splined actuator body and the gear carrier (Figure 2). b. Remove the actuator and thoroughly clean the threads, making sure not to allow RTV to fall into the differential case. c. Once clean, apply Three Bond sealant to the threads, and then reinstall the actuator motor, making sure to line up the alignment marks. d. Check the front differential gear oil level and top to specification. o Refer to the ESM: TRANSMISSION & DRIVELINE > DRIVELINE > FRONT FINAL DRIVE: MA235/MA210 > PERIODIC MAINTENANCE > FRONT DIFFERENTIAL GEAR OIL DO NOT replace the front differential due to a fluid leak from the actuator motor plastic threads unless there has been consequential damage due to fluid loss (bearing failure or gear noise) to the front differential.

SERVICE INFORMATION The Telematics Control Unit (TCU) has the ability to send an automatic collision notification when the vehicle is involved in an accident. Once an automatic collision notification is performed, the function becomes disabled and the TCU must be reset to re-enable the automatic collision notification function. Some models will store DTC B2E1B-97 for “Automatic eCAll locked” as “CURRENT” when this function is disabled. This bulletin describes how to reset the TCU after an automatic collision notification has been performed. For models with B2E1B-97 for “Automatic eCAll locked” set as “CURRENT”, complete the SERVICE PROCEDURE starting on page 2, and then erase DTCs after confirming the TCU condition is “UNLOCK”.

A Rear Final Drive Assembly should not be replaced unless bearing, gear, or other significant damage has occurred. 12 VOLT BATTERY TESTING FOR IN-SERVICE VEHICLES SERVICE INFORMATION The following Service Information lists NNA procedural recommendations for establishing good connections while performing 12V battery testing. These recommendations are expected to promote uniformity during the connection process, therefore reducing the number of incorrect âTest with DCAâ and âReplaceâ results. HINT: If 12 volt batteries are allowed to discharge for a prolonged period of time, battery life may be drastically reduced. This condition may lead to premature battery replacement and customer dissatisfaction. INFOTAINMENT CONTROL UNIT REPLACEMENT SERVICE INFORMATION SERVICE INFORMATION When replacing an AV Control Unit (Infotainment Control Unit), for any reason, all three steps below are required. If all three steps are not completed on vehicles equipped with a TCU, the Over The Air (OTA) updates will not work, and other functions may be inoperative. HINT: Not all APPLIED VEHICLES are OTA-update capable. 1. Reprogram the AV control unit. 2. Configure the AV control unit. 3. Write the VIN to the AV control unit. IMPORTANT: Steps 1-3 above must be performed in the sequential order shown below.

DRIVE SHAFT BOOT SERVICE INFORMATION SERVICE INFORMATION If a Drive Shaft (Axle Shaft) Boot on an APPLIED VEHICLE is found to be leaking grease, AND There is no abnormal noise or obvious CV Joint risk due to water intrusion and/or complete grease loss, check for REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (CV Joint Boot Kit) availability. ï· If there is a REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (CV Joint Boot Kit) available for the vehicle being repaired, do NOT replace the axle. Install a new boot kit following the procedure in the ESM. o Refer to the ESM: TRANSMISSION & DRIVELINE > FRONT AXLE > REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > FRONT DRIVE SHAFT BOOT o If the complete axle (drive shaft) is replaced when only a new boot is required, the over-repair may be charged back to the dealer. ï· If there is NOT a REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (CV Joint Boot Kit) available for the vehicle being repaired, refer to the ESM for further diagnostic information. IMPORTANT: When servicing vehicles with staked axle nuts, refer to NTB21-013 to prevent Drive Shaft thread damage.

NOISE AND/OR VIBRATION FROM FRONT OR REAR PROPELLER SHAFT SERVICE INFORMATION If you confirm abnormal noise and/or vibration is coming from the front or rear propeller shaft of an APPLIED VEHICLE, inspect the propeller shaft journals (U-Joints) for binding and/or abnormal noise before replacing the propeller shaft. If binding and/or abnormal noise is confirmed from the propeller shaft U-Joints, replace the propeller shaft U-Joints. Refer to the ESM for the propeller shaft U-Joint replacement procedure. NOTE: Replacement of the propeller shaft due to noise and/or vibration caused by the propeller shaft U-Joints may result in warranty charge back.

This commitment requires Nissan to periodically place certain vehicles on temporary Quality Assurance (QA) Hold to ensure that these vehicles, as delivered to our customers, meet our exacting standards and our customersâ expectations. Effective immediately, Nissan is placing a temporary Quality Assurance Hold on all 2020-2022 Nissan Frontier and 2020-2023 Nissan Titan vehicles due to an investigation of a potential transmission issue. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. Dealers may continue to repair vehicles subject to Recall R22A1 and R22A7; however these vehicles are subject to this quality hold after repair. *****What Dealers Should Do***** 1. Please do not drive, loan, rent, sell or trade the specific vehicles in dealer inventory subject to this quality hold. 2. Nissan is currently investigating a potential concern with the transmission. SERVICE INFORMATION FOR BRAKE SWITCH ADJUSTMENT FOR DTC C1142 AND/OR C1116 STORED SERVICE INFORMATION DTC C1142 (PRESS SEN CIRCUIT) and/or C1116 (STOP LAMP SW) may be stored if the Stop Lamp Switch and/or the Brake Pedal Position Switch are out of adjustment. Before replacing any components for DTCs C1142 (PRESS SEN CIRCUIT) and/or C1116 (STOP LAMP SW), stored as past or current, confirm that the Stop Lamp Switch and the Brake Pedal Position Switch are properly adjusted. If either the Stop Lamp Switch and/or the Brake Pedal Position Switch are found to be out of adjustment, adjust them as per the ESM, and then clear the DTCs and perform DTC confirmation. ï· Refer to the ESM: BRAKES > BRAKE SYSTEM > PERIODIC MAINTENANCE > BRAKE PEDAL > Adjustment
