Emissions
Certain chassis equipped with a PACCAR MX-11 EMY18 engine are eligible to receive software improvements to increase vehicle uptime and functionality of emissions fault detection. The software updates will allow Forward NOx sensor deviations to be detected prior to OBD Emission Limit (OBDEL) exceedance.

PSB E327: PACCAR MX-11 and MX-13 OBD Software Update Vehicles equipped with PACCAR MX engines with Engine Software Version NA202 or NA206 may display a dash STOP lamp incorrectly. PCI-2 software on these chassis must be reverted from NA202 to NA201 (Pack 2 injectors) or from NA206 to NA191 (Pack 1 injectors) to prevent incorrect STOP lamp display.

Fix-As-Fail â Due to undersupply issues, only a limited supply of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) sensors are available. As a temporary solution, after PACCAR confirms a DEF sensor is not available, a temporary software update will allow a vehicle to continue operation with a failed DEF sensor by disabling the DEF sensor diagnostics.
