PSB E327: PACCAR MX-11 and MX-13 OBD Software Update Vehicles equipped with PACCAR MX engines with Engine Software Version NA202 or NA206 may display a dash STOP lamp incorrectly. PCI-2 software on these chassis must be reverted from NA202 to NA201 (Pack 2 injectors) or from NA206 to NA191 (Pack 1 injectors) to prevent incorrect STOP lamp display.

Fix-As-Fail – Due to undersupply issues, only a limited supply of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) sensors are available. As a temporary solution, after PACCAR confirms a DEF sensor is not available, a temporary software update will allow a vehicle to continue operation with a failed DEF sensor by disabling the DEF sensor diagnostics.

Information only: Peterbilt has determined that certain Models 567 and 579 vehicles built between July 06, 2012 and March 27, 2020 with the PACCAR MX-13 Engine may experience an overspeed lamp illuminating during a smoke opacity test. If the lamp illuminates, it is not an indication of a problem with the vehicle but may cause the inspector to not allow the vehicle to operate in California.
