Service Campaign

Issue with the valve controlling the washer fluid flow between rear camera lens and rear window which may cause the valve to get stuck so that no water is sprayed on the rear window when customer activates rear window washing. Polestar has decided that all cars, concerned by this QB, shall be modified in accordance with this QB, at first workshop visit. A total of 13 U.S. vehicles and 23 Canada vehicles are affected by this service action.

There is risk of water intrusion into the cavity between the A pillar and the body side outer panel, located behind the right-hand side lower door hinge. This is because of the sealant not being correctly applied to effectively prevent water ingress. QB-S: Polestar has decided that all cars, concerned by this QB, shall be modified in accordance with this QB, at first workshop visit. A total of 966 U.S. and 1100 Canada vehicles are affected by this service action.

Polestar Automotive USA, on behalf of Polestar Performance AB, have decided to launch Recall RP1063 on certain model year 2025 Polestar 3 vehicles.
 Polestar has identified that the inline connector located between the engine bay cable harness the front bumper cable harness may experience water ingress into the connector housing, which has led to corrosion on the connector pins.
 As a result, water entering the connector housing may affect the vehicles’ electrical systems, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
 To remedy the affected vehicles, Polestar will replace the entire front bumper cable harness
 AND
 •Replace the two inline front bumper/engine bay connectors (left and right) on the engine bay harness.

Polestar Automotive USA, on behalf of Polestar Performance AB, has decided to launch Service Action SP1067: Polestar 3 steering shaft plate sealing on certain model year 2025 Polestar 3 vehicles.
 Polestar has identified that the sealant amount that was applied between the body plate in the steering shaft area may be insufficient. As a result, water may enter the cabin and cause the carpet to become wet.
 The corrective action is to reseal the body plate.
 A total of 145 U.S. vehicles are affected by this service action.

 Polestar has identified that certain Polestar 3 vehicles have software version 1.2.16 or below. New and improved software has been released to bring these vehicles up to the latest software baseline.
 The corrective action is to perform a Total Software Upgrade.
 A total of 157 U.S. and 18 Canadian vehicles are affected by this service action.

Polestar Automotive USA and Polestar Automotive Canada on behalf of Polestar Performance AB, has decided to launch Service Action SP1045: Polestar 3 AWD Torque Vectoring Dual Clutch (TVDC) drain plugs on certain model year 2025 Polestar 3 vehicles.
 Polestar investigations have identified that the drain plugs for the TVDC may not be torqued properly. As a result, leakage may occur.
 The corrective action is to check for leakage and replace the drain plugs if they are found to be leaking.
 NOTE: If no leakage is found, check and torque the drain plug screws according to the instruction. If leakage is found, the drain plug screws are not to be reused and must be replaced. We expect only a small number of vehicles will need to replace the drainplug screws.
 A total of 2,529 U.S. and 212 Canadian vehicles are affected by this service action.

Polestar Automotive USA on behalf of Polestar Performance AB, have decided to launch Delivery Action DP1048: Polestar 3 Cell modules on certain Model Year 2025 Polestar 3 vehicles.
 Polestar has identified that one or more cell modules in the high voltage battery have been drained below the allowed voltage level. As a result, these battery cells cannot be charged.
 The corrective action is to identify any defective cell modules by performing a component test in VIDA. When the test has been executed, VIDA will state which repairs are needed.
 IMPORTANT NOTE: Any new cell modules that are installed must be scanned with the mVIDA app. All old cell modules must follow the return instructions outlined in Service Journal 1000426.

 The corrective action is to perform a HLCM Reload before any other softwares are downloaded to the vehicle.

 Polestar investigations have identified that there is an issue with harness design, based on the current wire size, the fuse cannot provide sufficient protection in case of a short.
 The corrective action is to replace the fuse for the left and right seat wire.
 A total of 6 U.S. vehicles are eligible for this Delivery Action.
