Since the older and newer sensors are using different valve stems, replacement of a defective sensor on older vehicles will require the use of a new kit number (valve stem and sensor assembly). The table below provides a quick overview between the older and newer part numbers depending on wheel application.

When performing the next periodic maintenance, check clearance between the 4-inch OD turbooutlet pipe (Prevost part number 052953) and a close support bracket. If evidence of rubbing isfound, i.e. scratched paint on the 4-inch OD turbo outlet pipe, a modification of the support bracket can be performed in order to increase the clearance between the involved components. The support bracket will remain strong enough for the duty even after being modified.
