SWITCH Headlamp Before replacing the Headlamp Switch for faulty dimmer operation. Please follow the next steps to corroborate if the Headlamp Switch is malfunctioning: 1.- Please disconnect and reconnect the headlamp Switch. And verify if the issue is corrected. 2.- Review the internal resistance of the switch: a.- For the Right Dimmer (IP) between Pins 6 & 3. The value should be around 5.74 KOhms, when in the lowest position to 311 ohms in the top position (Parade Detent). b.- For the left Dimmer (Ambient Light) between pins 8 & 3. The value should be around 14.52 KOhms, when in the lowest position to 182 ohms in the top position. If a problem is found in the resistor values. Please replace the Switch.

Transmission Kit with Torque Converter 1. All Promaster (VF) 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the transmission bracket to the transmission case fasteners are removed during servicing, the fasteners (Part Number 06511385A$) are one-time usage. Vehicles built prior to 10/23/2015 requires Service Kit PN 68461214AA; includes Transmission Isolator PN 68264483AA, and Adaptation Bracket 68264479AA and Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA Vehicles built after on or after 10/23/2015 will require only the Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA. 2. All 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the vehicle you are repairing has a crack in the flex plate or failed pump bushing inspect and confirm that both (2) dowel pins are present in the engine block, which align the transmission center line to the crank shaft centerline and visually inspect the dowel alignment holes in the transmission case. If the holes are damaged or elongated the transmission should be replaced to prevent further damage to the transmission/flexplate or pump bushing due to the inability to properly align the engine to the transmission during the repair. 3. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If pump bushing is scored or damaged and the dowel pin alignment holes are ok, replace the pump assembly as opposed to complete transmission. 4. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If vehicle is jerking/slipping with MIL code(s) P0740 or P2764, check TCC Solenoid operation. If TCC Solenoid is ok, the codes are indicative of a torque converter failure. Replace the torque converter.

PEDAL, Accelerator (APPS) Before replacing accelerator pedal for P061B, make sure all PCM software service bulletins and recalls are up to date, if applicable. Before replacing accelerator pedal for other DTCs, be sure to follow fault code diagnostic procedures in Service Library and be sure to check wiring and connectors. P2122 and P2127 will set if accelerator pedal connector is disconnected during diagnosis. Make sure codes are active before replacing pedal. DTC P2299 is usually caused by a two footed driver and acceleartor pedal should not be replaced for this fault if driving style is confirmed with the customer.

Next, attempt to reset the ASCM by removing the F50 20A ASCM fuse in the Power Distribution Center. Then reinstall the fuse. Using WiTECH check for DTC?s. If U0132, U0421, U0422 DTCs are now stored, clear them. Perform a short test drive. If the codes do not return do not repair. Condition is under investigation by engineering.

If there is an indication of any leak on the seal washer, do not remove the washer, consider replacing the complete AC line and return it to FCA for analysis. None of the seals from the PTU side will need to be replaced whenever the ATX stubshaft is replaced, even though V-seal (68408748A$) is in direct contact with the stubshaft, it will not avoid grease/oil leakage from transmission side. PTU V-seals are intended to act as a dust cover for stubshaft - PTU input shaft spline interface. PTU Input shaft seal (68408749A$) is intended to hold PTU oil and debris ingress; it should be replaced only if the fluid leakage is confirmed to be PTU oil and not ATX trans. fluid.

Inspect the CVPM harness and related in-line harness connections to ensure the connectors are assembled correctly, with no connector damage, pinched wires, terminals pushed out, bent pins, or water intrusion. 5. If the wiring harness and connections appear to be good and B2286-00 is still active, replace the CVPM and return to QEC for root cause analysis. DO NOT try to run a service calibration routine before replacing the part. Otherwise, the historical environmental data will be erased.

Radio and Back-up Camera Enhancements This bulletin involves updating the radio software level to 1848.24. Customers may experience one or more of the following: Green horizontal lines on back up display, in reverse (If this is the customer concern use camera LOP 18-60-02-W2, on DT and JL vehicles only). Ghost Touch, features, modes and App?s changing without drivers input. Speaker pop noise when using Bluetooth device. When vehicle is first start the radio will reset and the time display shows 12:00. Audio distortion and volume fluctuation. Blank rear camera image in reverse (If this is the customer concern use camera LOP 18-60-02-W2, on DT and JL vehicles only). Audio distortion (KL vehicles). Audio cutting in and out during memory recall. Ring tone too loud. AM/FM volume fluctuates. While in CarPlay® or Android Auto Google® maps showing wrong location. Phone disconnected after first call. Black screen or White screen with vertical lines. Personal Identification Number (PIN) clears and volume locked while KeySense is used. Audio static while in SXM/SAT modes. Echo heard during Bluetooth phone calls. The radio is locked up. The radio remains on after ignition has been turned off. The radio resets. The radio screen turns black. Intermittently requires an anti-theft code to be entered. Software update also includes software enhancement. SXM sound and behavior improvements.

RETAINER, Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Oil leak from rear engine seal retainer or windage tray/gasket Check for other sources of leaks using dye such as gallery plugs, camshaft cup plug at rear of engine, rear of engine valley for possible MDS solenoid, VVT solenoid, block porosity or transmission leaks. If another source of the leak was identified, proceed with the appropriate repairs. Engineering is looking for assistance in determining root cause and a corrective action on crankshaft rear oil seals and windage tray/gaskets. Flash: Air Suspension Control Module (ASCM) Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the ASCM with the latest available software. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that one or more of the following DTCs have been set:C220C-48 - Active Suspension Module Internal-Supervision Software Failure. C211B-92 - Ignition Run/Start Input-Performance Or Incorrect Operation. C156C-7A - Ride Height System Air Leak-Fluid Leak Or Seal Failure. In addition the customer may describe:Excessive operation or noise from air suspension system when vehicle is stationary. "Air Suspension Disabled" message when attempting Bed Lowering Mode (BLM). Excessive compressor valve cycling following a cold start(Diesel engine only). Erroneous "Bed Low Achieved" message through the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC), when requesting lowering, even though the truck didn't physically lower. All vehicles equipped with a 3.2L or 3.6L except for model year 2014 vehicles with leak concern: 1) Ensure the Oil Filter Adapter (OFA) Cap O-ring is seated in the proper groove in the cap and not damaged or cut. 2) If replacing the (OFA) due to a leak detected between (OFA) and block. Ensure the torque on the 5 bolts are torqued to 12nm. If not record the actual values, torque to 12nm and contact the FCA employees listed below. 3) Remove the (OFA) and replace the O-ring and gaskets only (Kit #68191356A$), NOT THE OFA. 4) If oil was drained, add oil dye to ensure the leak is repaired. For model year 2014 vehicles replace the Oil Filter Adaptor.
