Service Bulletin/Repair Instructions

Rivian is initiating a customer satisfaction campaign for some 2027 R2 vehicles that have wheelwell harnesses that could be prone to stretching and/or chafing over time. This may cause a wheel speed sensor malfunction and/or indicator light to illuminate on the driver display alerting the driver to have service performed on their vehicle. Rivian will reinforce or replace the harnesses. Rivian is launching this campaign for customer satisfaction and to ensure the quality of Rivian vehicles.

Service Bulletin/Repair Instructions

Rivian is launching a technical service bulletin for some model year 2027 R2 vehicles with roof glass that does not provide optimal protection from high solar loads on sunny days. Upon customer complaint of high interior temperatures from sun exposure through the roof glass, Rivian will replace the roof glass with a version that reduces solar load.

Rivian is initiating a customer satisfaction campaign for some model year 2027 R2 vehicles that may be prone to noise in the front drive unit when accelerating or decelerating while turning. Driveability and performance are not affected. Rivian will add a friction modifier to the drive unit oil to prevent the noise. Rivian is launching this campaign for customer satisfaction and to ensure the quality of Rivian vehicles.
