If this issues occurs on models with Auto A/C, the blower fan may become totally inoperative. If this issue occurs on models with Manual A/C, the blower fan may operate on high speed only. The root cause of these conditions is water intrusion into the blower motor causing rust and corrosion to develop. Over time, the blower motor may begin to draw more electrical current to operate. if that occurs, the additional draw can cause the related fuse and/ or blower resistor to fail. To address this condition, additional packing has been added to improve sealing of the blower unit case along with development of a new style cabin air filter which also in corporates improved sealing.

If the door is closed without using enough force to engage both latches or by pushing it shut on just one side instead of in the middle, one may close and not the other. Over time, if the door is not fully closed with both latches, high cabin temperatures along with weight of the items inside the glove box may cause the assembly to deform slightly and a gap to develop.

Provisioning is the process by which the DCM receives the subscription request and activates the related DCM features requested as outlined in the specific subscription contract. If provisioning is not successful then the DCM may remain in an inactive state and the requested services may not be activated for the customer. Field investigation has found that this may be a result of three possible conditions. * The DCM may be off the network due to vehicle storage or other network factors. * The DCM may be lacking power or ground due to some body side electrical concern. * The DCM may have an internal failure.

In addition, two of the caps are now used in production instead of only one. This change was made to enhance productivity during vehicle assembly.

This bulletin provides information about changes made to the rear shelf trim to address customer concerns of a rattling sound heard while driving over bumpy / rough roads. The sources of the rattle have been identified as: ? the mounting points for the center stop lamp where it fits into the package shelf ? the package shelf itself rattling against the inside of the rear glass ? the rib and/or stand portions located on the underside of the package shelf contacting the shelf portion of the vehicle body.

This bulletin announces a change to the procedure used in production of the rear door glass assembly. The bottom edge of the door glass is pressed into a metal channel lined with rubber. The channel attaches the door glass assembly to the window regulator. In below-freezing temperature conditions, water freezing in the channel combined with the door glass sticking to the door weatherstrip can increase chance of the glass separating from the channel when attempting to operate (lower) the window. A lubricant has been added to the rubber portion to insure the glass gets fully seated during assembly which maximizes the clamping force of the channel on the glass.

Their color formulations are updated on a continual basis. Some vendors may have different color names than those provided to them by SOA. Be sure to double-check the codes and formulas beforehand to help insure an accurate color match. Should discrepancies arise, please refer your Body Shop contact inquiries to the specific paint vendor or their jobber/supplier for the most updated formula information.
