Service bulletins

3 bulletins

Technical service bulletins are instructions a manufacturer sent its dealers about a known fault. They are not recalls and the work is usually not free, but they are the clearest signal of a problem the manufacturer already knows about.

MCD-009

Other

Stopped using the lights we had been using due to expense. Replaced with these, but these new lights have to be wired in instead of just clicking in. These are the instructions to wire in.

Letter to dealer

Service Bulletin/Repair Instructions

This was a letter to our dealers we sent out when we first heard of the Kidde fire extinguisher recall, even though it was still unofficial. We knew our coaches on the dealers' lots contained Kidde and could not be sold unreplaced.

SB-55

Service Bulletin/Repair Instructions

Possibility that the wires connecting the air conditioners to the 120 volt AC load center were not properly installed. If this wiring is not corrected there could be some nuisance tripping of the generator circuit breakers.

Reading this report

Complaint counts are reports filed with NHTSA, not failure rates. A common model collects more of them than a rare one that breaks more often.
