Tiffin is asking dealers to check placement of the cooktop LPG line on 2017-2020 Wayfarer motorhomes that come in to their shops, equipped with either a countertop garbage chute or an under the counter mounted microwave. Making sure that LPG line is fastened away from garbage chute and/or the under the counter mounted microwave , so that it does not rub against a metal surface.

On certain Sprinter vehicles, the fuse layout of the interior heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) blower motor might not meet the requirements for prolonged operation at the highest blower setting. The interior blower motor circuit may be inadequate, which can allow the wiring harness to overload. Consequently, a risk of fire during operation and a risk of injury cannot be ruled out.

Mercedes-Benz AG (âÃÂÃÂMBAGâÃÂÃÂ), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, has determined that on certain Sprinter vehicles, the display function of the rearview camera might be impaired. In some instances the rearview image might not be displayed in the central display after engaging the reverse gear. Instead, the central display would continue to display the existing screen image (e.g. navigation, radio, etc.) or display a black screen with a message warning of the inoperability of the rearview camera to display an image. There is no deactivation of the rearview camera, or frozen rearview camera image. A rearview camera image might not be available within 2.0 seconds (as required by FMVSS 111 S5.5.3) as the vehicle begins to back up, which might impair rear visibility which could increase the risk of a crash.

MBAG was notified of customer complaints claiming a van had "rolled away" after the driver had selected the Park ("P") gear position and P was displayed to the driver in the instrument cluster. MBAG confirmed that if the vehicle is not properly secured in accordance with the parking instructions in the vehicle Operator's Manual, in particular by always engaging the parking brake after shifting to P, the vehicle could roll from its parked position which could increase the risk of a crash. Always secure the van in accordance with the instructions in the Operator's Manual.

Blocked Air Return - It has come to our attention that some 2020, 2021 and 2022 Wayfarer Motorhomes have an air return that is blocked by a wood panel. If the air return vent is blocked this could cause the furnace to not operate properly which would cause difficulty in heating the motorhome.
Complaint counts are reports filed with NHTSA, not failure rates. A common model collects more of them than a rare one that breaks more often.
