Shyft Group (Shyft) is recalling certain 2015-2025 Utilimaster Truck Body vehicles. The signal converter may fail, which can cause the brake lights and turn signals to become inoperative.
Remedy: Shyft will inspect and repair the signal converter connecters as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 7, 2025. Owners may contact Shyft customer service at 1-800-237-7806. Shyft's number for this recall is 25-16.

Spartan Motors, Inc. (Spartan) is recalling certain model year 2012-2015 Utilimaster Walk-in vans and truck body vehicles manufactured January 21, 2014, to March 12, 2015. The affected vehicles are equipped with a back up camera system which may display images from the camera in reverse.
Remedy: Spartan will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the vehicles and replace any camera that is not displaying the correct images. The recall began on June 24, 2015. Owners may contact Spartan customer service at 1-800-582-3454.
Complaint counts are reports filed with NHTSA, not failure rates. A common model collects more of them than a rare one that breaks more often.
