VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL Recall
Volvo Bus Corporation (Volvo Bus) is recalling certain 2022 9700 buses. The GPS devices may have been installed incorrectly, which can cause an accelerator pedal sensor malfunction and lead to an unexpected loss of drive power.
Remedy: Prevost will inspect and reinstall the GPS devices, if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed January 31, 2023. Owners may contact Volvo Bus' customer service at 1-866-870-2046.
