Technical service bulletins are instructions a manufacturer sent its dealers about a known fault. They are not recalls and the work is usually not free, but they are the clearest signal of a problem the manufacturer already knows about.

Sealing improvements have been made to PNs 32382367, 32441161 and 32382368, but the part numbers are unchanged. To assist with identification of improved parts, a marking has been added to the parts: an "X," as shown in the attached document TJ_36923_1.pdf. If you receive a replacement pump that does not have the "X" marking, please return it and order a replacement

Please follow the advice under "Service". This TJ is a complement to the fault tracing in VIDA. Inform the customer that driving for too long with low loads creates a risk that this DTC will be set, and they should accelerate more aggressively periodically.
Complaint counts are reports filed with NHTSA, not failure rates. A common model collects more of them than a rare one that breaks more often.
