If the customer complains about a significant HV battery SoC drop after parking, please follow the advice under "service". In cold weather (50°F and below) when the SoC is below 40% the indicated SoC may drop by approximately 10-15%. The correct SoC value is the one displayed when the vehicle is initially parked. The range will slowly recover and will be completely recovered after HV battery charge.

Volvo Cars has expanded its public charging access around North America. To access, Volvo Cars is making the North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapter available to drivers of current fully electric Volvo Cars. Volvo only supports the usage of a Volvo approved adapter. To avoid misuse, Volvo Cars will affix a NACS adapter warning label inside the charging lid. S10318 affects 8,492 vehicles in the U.S. and 2,147 in Canada.

C000017 also addresses certain EX90’s that have missed one (1) or more OTA downloads. Complimentary Upgrade C000017 addresses vehicles that are no longer able to receive OTA updates. This Upgrade is necessary to have the correct baseline for future OTA deployments. In order to explain the features and benefits we recommend noting the software level before the download is completed. This will aid in explaining to the customer what improvements have been added since their last software download. To remedy concerned cars, please follow the instructions outlined in TJ 36139.
