For certain Winnebago vehicles equipped with Winnebago Connect and a Xantrex Freedom XC PRO 2000 Inverter, a new inverter firmware update is available and must be completed to ensure proper charging operation. If the coach is connected to shore power and the firmware has not been updated, the inverter may prevent the coach from charging. Repair involves an update to the Inverter’s U1 and U3 Firmware.

Service Campaign

On certain Winnebago vehicles, performing a hard reset of the Xantrex inverter may change the “Battery Type” setting. If this setting is incorrect, the batteries may not charge properly, which may result in reduced performance. This campaign will also update the Xantrex inverter to the latest firmware version.
